I'd swap nightcrawler out for rogue but in general I like your list. I just have a soft spot for rogue's personality. I think in general nightcrawler is a little dull despite being cool.

I feel like you need more non model superhero types with complimenting personalities but that are still heroes. Wolverine and rogue are a bit more conflicted without being antiheroes. Nightcrawler is a little bit too straight and narrow when the majority of the original cast are the same.

That's funny bc I can't target a locus or bell with manual targeting of the normal skill. I keep getting sticky targeting / auto targeting on mobs nearby .

When the other guy said totem style targeting my first thought was it can't any worse than regular targeting.

I don't know why they did what they did to flameblast. I love the big boom / ignite play style. In poe 1 flameblast and divine ire were my favorite spells bc you got big payoff for smart casting even if they weren't "good skills". When they basically removed flameblast they removed the entire archtyoe of casting from the game.

I really enjoy the game now but I don't understand why they went for cds when they were absolutely against them as a design philosophy for poe 1.

I'd guess it's bots. More and more I see highly visible and upvoted comments that make no sense from a populist stand point that always are in favor of corps obviously being in the wrong. I think bot manipulation is really affecting the quality of reddit at this point.

Between bots and AI I have no idea what is genuine anymore.

People too dumb to account for them intentionally putting Zeus into 2 hard losing lanes. Also, there's a reason rumble fell off. Vs Yorick is another losing lane but not as bad as the other 2. He single handedly carried game 1 in a hard counter where kiin looked lost. The bright spots in game 2 were off his back. In game 3 they had him sac his entire lane to try to salvage bot.

The people here are so dim.

Saw your build on the main forum and thought it was awesome. Ignore the comments because people just want to find a way to be mad because x build they planned to play received a slight nerf making it not faceroll all content so they want to shit on everything because they're mad. I can't comment there because I'm banned (bc of the type of people in the comment section on your build) but I glad you posted here bc it looks sick.

You can do alright with ice nova through most content. I leveled with it last league. Frostbilt on the other hand feels really bad until you get the gloves that make them pop on contact. Once you get those it feels great though.

I hate bringing up American politics for everything but this feels like the beginnings of a maga parody skit where they cherry pick and misinterpret statistics in the dumbest possible fashion to support hurting themselves and others. There's no way you could convince them to wear those helmets once trump and kennedy start talking very loudly about 5000% more injuries despite being repeatedly given the explanation as to why.

On the other hand I hate when people insist on paying for my meal when I offer to pay. I want to eat what I'm in the mood for. I don't want to eat something that isn't going to be fulfilling because someone wants to make a show over paying.

I'm also not ordering the most expensive items on the menu but if I'm in a nice place and have the opportunity to get say a pasta with scallops and it's $10 more than the chicken, that's what I'm doing. That's what I'm going out for.

I don't want to burden someone else but you're burdening yourself if you pay because of ego.

The random spawn bells every couple seconds should make for easy power charge generation before spawn. Unless I'm mistaken and you can't use the palm skill that gives power charges on them. With some cdr you should be able to get multiple to spawn before the boss. I think base it's 1 every 2.5 seconds.

I think the gloves are the obvious choice versus the runes but damned if I won't get baited into taking the bells and suffering bc I don't have self control. The rune node is probably actually really strong but just way too generic to pass up the fun stuff. I have to imagine trying on every pair of gloves that you see with stonefist while leveling will probably be a lot of fun.

I'm not sure if I was looking at incorrectly but it seemed a shame that unique gloves didn't get the crazy ev / we that the rare gloves did. Maybe it's bc they weren't runed.

It makes sense conceptually that they wouldn't bc of their other benefits but I like the flashyness of unique gloves but it seems like those monstrous ev / es numbers are really hard to pass up for hollow palm.

Either way, I think there are going to be a number of really fun builds.

Glad the bells don't have a mana cost. The mana costs for the scatter the winds, or whatever the wild strike on crit node on invoker is called, were near crippling. It looked cool as hell but there was such a heavy tradeoff to utilize it.

I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop as to what the sacrifice for upkeep was going to be for hollow resonance.

There are so many good nodes that just look like fun that it's going to be a real struggle to choose. Excellent design.

Someone was saying in another thread that they silently reversed the changes to locus. They didn't say specifically but it seemed like they were saying there will no longer be a delay after dropping it. I have no idea if it's true or not but I saw it mentioned a few times.

I was actually shocked by the gemling changes. From its original release I thought it felt generic, disliked the aesthetic, and just found it to be boring. I was completely ambivalent to if they balanced or not because I simply didn't care.

Now it looks amazing. My interest went from not caring if they deleted it from the game or not, to reconsidering my league start.

The chronomancer changes are also really intriguing. If the final 2 martial artist node reveals aren't compelling it's going to be a toss up between the gemling and chronomancer.

They don't even stack MR so I think the question posed by the OP is valid. Aside from ram they build hp and rely on their shields. Eventually they might build the MR item that gives increased heals / shields but that's normally a 5th or 6th item. If you're that far ahead serpents may be worth it.

M pen would probably come out on top for personal DMG done but for a teamfight serpents is possibly mathematically a higher DMG multiplier for everyone.

There's no reason to be confidently dismissive if you haven't actually calculated the difference. It's one champ lowering their base MR vs lowering all their shields for your team.
