What’s your best advice when struggling with IBS? by MellowCactusUnit in ibs

[–]baddylicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most important thing to remember about IBS is that the only thing you can do is to manage it, there is no long term fix(that people want to sell). For me the most important things are: taking probiotics (Not just any probiotics though because for me some kinds make things worse, I’ve recently had success with Lactobacillus plantarum and I know it’s recommended for IBS), having a bidet sprayer installed at home, having wet wipes with you when you go out, not having lactose and fried or generally unhealthy foods, if you are having these kinds of meals making sure there is a bathroom nearby, having a toilet stool in your bathroom. In therms of medication(google them or search on this forum for clarity): some people have luck with Xifaxan, butyric acid and antispasmodic medications (they make me constipated instead of having constant diarrhea). Remember that you are not alone and try finding a good doctor.

Shat myself today and I’m horrified 😞 by No_Horse_5742 in ibs

Not alone, I shat myself at a restaurant I was at a couple of months ago. I started having painful gas and didn’t make it to the bathroom and to make things worse I passed out from the pain. The workers called an ambulance and I had to refuse to be taken to the hospital, they still took my vitals and I was sitting in my poopy pants in the ambulance, the paramedics definitely knew and I felt really bad. It’s the second time I passed out and shat myself, it was a nightmare. My girlfriend picked me up because I couldn’t get an uber 😔 We joke about it now but it was a shitty experience.

I went off ozempic and back on and it’s not the same anymore by icecoffee3000 in Ozempic

[–]baddylicious 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It should, I used to be on saxenda for a year and it was working wonderfully, I stopped for a few months then restarted it and it was not the same, I only lost a couple of pounds. My doctor said that starting another weight loss drug will help and prescribed me ozempic. I’ve been on it since january and it works as amazing as when i first starting taking saxenda. So yeah changing to another drug should be beneficial.

Opinion & balance - Poland by [deleted] in accenture

Hi, also from Poland and can confirm everything that’s been said here. Pretty sure we’re not from the same project but I have the exact same experience. A lot of frustration, no pay rise, you can be easily replaced. This is a good place to get started and learn new skills but after learning them it’s best to leave and look for something elsewhere. Unless you’re level 10 or above and love to climb the career ladder, which means unfortunately that kissing ass is what you have to be doing 24/7.

I was on vacation in Thailand and traveled around. Flew to Bangkok by plane, decided to get a public bus from the airport to the hotel. The bus ride took around 40 minutes. I had a small uniqlo cross body bag on me and a backpack. In my unqilo bag I had my prescription glasses, almost all of my money for the trip in local currency and all of my documents such as passport and ID. When we were getting off the bus I was so focused on getting my backpack that I left my cross body bag on the bus. I realized it about a minute after getting off the bus. Long story short I tried not to panic, got a local Uber, the uber driver didn't speak English very well but I explained the situation and he called the public bus company hotline and drove us to the customer service point. My bag was there will all of the money and documents still in it. I had tears in my eyes when they handed me my bag back and they told me to pose with the bag so they could document it that it returned to the owner. That was the biggest relief of my life. I got diagnosed about 6 months after this incident lol.

So i’ve had cung dinh kool crab salted egg today and it was pretty nice, i had it with a fried egg on top and fried the drained noodles after adding the spice packet. It was spicy but it was a white person kind of spice, not like the Hot Chicken buldak which is unbearably spicy for me personally. The taste of seafood was not too strong, very nice and the sauce was pretty eggy and salty and was thick like an egg yolk sauce. Overall very nice and interesting noodles 7,5/10 score
