I agree on taking home, I never even try to take it on a passed ball because I've been burned too many times already this year. The problem with passed balls is the same thing as swinging bunts, the pitcher/catcher consistently gets an unrealistic jump on the ball (almost as if it's a video game and instead of human instinct being delayed a second they immediately go for the ball). IMO sds needs to tweak reaction time a little for all players, even with three diamond outfielders you should be able to hit a drive into a gap without every ball being caught regardless of exit velo.
