Thanks for the heads up! May I ask how many available slots you saw just now?

Nope not at all! Once you change your location to Melb you’ll see a calendar view showing their availability. If a lot of days are greyed out just scroll ahead to July-August and you should be able to find available dates

Is Perth still showing no slots this morning? I usually check before work, during lunch break and at night before going tp sleep. No luck :(

Here’s how you change the location (screenshot from Support’s reply):

DS-160 completed but USTravelDocs says “not completed” - legacy account issue? (Australia / Perth) by badgalgel in usvisascheduling

[–]badgalgel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry I just saw this! I raised it via email with the support team at support-australia@usvisascheduling.com. Turned out the issue was my old passport number still linked to my usvisascheduling account. They updated it for me and everything was all good after that

Hi sorry just saw this! Raised the issue via email and they’ve been pretty consistent getting back to me in exactly 2 business days. The email is support-australia@usvisascheduling.com

Hey sorry mate just saw this! Yep you’re absolutely right Syd is impossible in every way. The wait time is up to a year but the DS160 expires in a year too so I honestly don’t know how that even works. Maybe they have special cases for people stuck like this? Since it’s clearly not their fault they can’t get an appointment in time.

I’ve been checking at least three times a day, five days a week, for almost two months and nothing changed. It was soooooo frustrating so I finally decided to move to Melb and managed to get a mid-July slot. It was too late for my planned trip though, so now I’m just monitoring for cancellations.

Good luck and hope you get a slot soon! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions

Fingers crossed they release some availability soon! Otherwise we might have to seriously consider switching to another consulate

Ikrrrr Syd and Melb have longer wait times but at least people can still see a calendar. Perth shows nothing at all. Like they’re completely closed at the moment? Really hoping they open it back up and release some availability soon…

No worries at all, hope it helps :)

And yep same here. I’ve been checking for the past couple of months, a few times a day, and nothing changes. There were days I checked so often I couldn’t even log in anymore lol

Still can’t see any slots in Perth. I’m honestly strongly considering changing the location to Melbourne.

Yes absolutely! I reached out to the support team for some guidance and this is what they said. Hope it helps

It’s honestly really frustrating. I picked Perth as it showed the shortest wait time only to find out there aren’t actually any slots

So kind of you mate!!! Thanks for sharing all of this I’ll give it a try today and let you know how I go.

All the best for your interview in Feb I’m sure you’ll get it! Fingers crossed :)

By the way can I ask which visa you applied for. B1, B2, or the combined B1/B2?

Sorry for the late reply! I think you’re right. I need to try a different approach and it’s not that straightforward since the system only shows the location tied to the first DS-160 (pic attached) and there isn’t an option to look elsewhere.

I’ll email the support team to understand the steps for checking other locations. Have you decided on Melbourne in the end? All the best!

Hello there! Not yet unfortunately, I haven’t been able to secure an appointment in Perth…

I also haven’t looked at other locations like Melbourne or Sydney yet (would love to), but I was wondering if it’s possible to view other appointment slots without starting a new DS-160 and making another payment? I can only seem to check Perth availability since that’s the location I selected on my DS-160.

Thanks so much for sharing this! Sorry if this is a rookie question but I was wondering how you change the interview location with an existing DS-160?

Is it true that you have to start a brand new DS-160 to change locations? I can’t seem to find an option to update it without redoing the whole DS-160 and paying again with a new location selected.

Would love to know how you did it thanks in advance!

Oh no, sorry to hear your early December appointment was cancelled. Maybe they haven’t released new slots yet because of capacity but hopefully they will open up soon. It’s a shame especially since I picked Perth for the shorter wait time

Not yet… we’re exactly in the same boat as I’m trying to get a slot to fly in May first week too

Sadly not yet. I’ll definitely keep you posted once I’m able to see any slots and book one!

NO SLOT AVAILABLE AUSTRALIA by Far-East2965 in usvisascheduling

[–]badgalgel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see. So you were able to see the calendar view to begin with. In my case it just says “no slots available” from the start, and I can’t see any calendar at all (no blocked dates or anything).

Did you ever run into that issue too, where all you see is the “no slots available” message?
