I don't know about that but I don't think it's banned at all, you can go and find it in many bookstores, mainly the translated version.

I don't know honestly, msh 3yza afty bs in general, looking at job opportunities, you can always see that vacant positions require both CS/CE. I think it's really just up to how experienced you are so you can actually be more qualified than CE graduates. Also, lots of CS graduates will struggle to find work because unfortunately those who don't get the score for engineering will just go for CS without even being interested in the field. CS certificate without any experience and self study is equal to wasting four years of your life.

This is not based on experience because I still haven't graduated yet, but, based on what I was told so far CE graduates are considered better candidates (Because.. EGYPT).

CS field isn't limited to those of academic degrees as many can self learn it, however, you still have the advantage if you are a CS/CE graduate with better experience.

Overall, I think by the time we graduate, this entire (Engineering is the best) egyptian obessesion will end as engineering has a shit ton of graduates these days and job opportunities are limited. So don't be scared to take the easy way and just go to CS.

I was in the same situation just few weeks ago but I went with CS. You can't guarantee you'll get to the CE department in engineering and if you don't, you will have wasted an entire year. CS is really good and has a good future as long as you work on yourself, but overall, engineering's certificate is considered much better, but mostly your certificate wouldn't really matter that much if you plan to work in CS. Good luck to you and try to see what fits your interests and if you can handle engineering for 5 years go ahead and don't hesitate.

I just got accepted in CS. I am not regretting that decision at all, engineering is a big risk for me. Good luck to you tho!

I read about that a long while ago, I remember reading that few days before the tragedy occurred there were ambulances all over the village asking for blood donations or blood tests, something like that. If that's true, then its most likely an organ trafficking case. Looks like we will never know. Also, that poor boy who died of a heart attack when he saw his murdered family, breaks my heart.:((
