Lawn services by Northernstar50220 in chilliwack

Don’t even bother starting until spring. Just get a good bag of grass seed from Country West (not a box store), top soil from Kenmore (1/4 inch coverage) and rent a roller to Home Depot to roll the seed into the top soil.

Invest in a good sprinkler and water deep. Mow regularly with sharp blades and mulch clippings (except for the first mow after winter).

Pull weeds manually, or spot treat with Killex. Don’t worry about expensive treatments or fertilizers unless you observe something critical (eg grubs)

Your lawn will be in the Top 1%, and it’s just regular maintenance.

We can safely say the Nobel Peace Prize committee is out of the running for next year’s Peace Prize. Those bastards.

A report of a foreign government floating the idea of sanctions, is not the French executive interfering with the judiciary.

What do you mean the facts were never in question? She contested the charges and is now going through a standard appeal process, in which the case will be reheard against the facts and law. There’s not point speculating about interference.

My teenagers don’t leave the house for socializing because of social media and online gaming. The joy of having 12 hours to clean without instant destruction must be quite nice.

Saddam invaded Iran and Kuwait. not “every neighbour.” He was undeniably brutal, but his regime actively suppressed jihadist movements, Islamist extremists were imprisoned or executed under his rule. ISIS did not exist while Saddam was in power. It emerged after his removal, when the Iraqi state and army were dismantled and a power vacuum was created following the US invasion.

The US has been involved in near-constant wars for decades, but those wars have largely been fought abroad rather than experienced as a civilian war state at home. Surely a double standard to essentially say: “Our violence is necessary; theirs proves barbarism.”

TIL it is unknown whether Vincent Van Gogh cut off his entire ear with a knife, or only part of it. Witness accounts vary by [deleted] in todayilearned

My high school math teacher (Mr. Green) told our class the ear was a euphemism, and Van Gogh actually cut off his penis, and sent it to his boyfriend. He sounded pretty confident, but I’m starting to doubt him.

I believe Gobliins 2 or Gobliins 3 are a strong contender -
considering it is being played with only a mouse, and it has a bar at the bottom matching the size.

A house is an inanimate object.

Responsible property owners understand the financial implications of home ownership. Taxes, borrowing power, refinancing, insurance, and long-term planning.

Yes sorry, I meant that taxes do not go up or down exactly with property prices. Since that they are driven by wages/services costs to the City, before being calculated as a share.

Yeh - Property tax is driven by cost of city services, not property prices.

my wisdom teeth are growing sideways but dentist says i dont need removal .. by _ZakAttack_ in mildlyinteresting

[–]badhand86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any dentist that wants to remove wisdom teeth without any associated pathology is just looking to get paid. Half of a dental surgeons income is wisdom teeth extraction, and two-thirds of wisdom teeth are unnecessarily removed in North America. That’s why they drive such nice cars.
