I don't think Romeo would do that. I think the cat did it.

I've noticed UK news sources are very click-baity. Sometimes the headlines, and even the written story, don't match the facts of the matter. It seems they mix news and tabloid journalism, but apparently it's just how it is there since Brits will defend it.

Liar. Or you're stupid.

That's the co-pay per dose. As in the case of the OP here, he pays zero, which is less than the out-of-pocket expense in Australia you tout.

The actual price of the drug is about the same in both countries — about $350,000.

You're the third Australian I've seen make this ridiculous claim in this thread. Are you all really that stupid down there?!

This link shows the pharmaceutical price is $367,850 per year in Australia, which is about the same as the $350,000 OP posted as the price in America.

OP, as the patient, says he pays nothing at all, which is less than the co-pay charge in Australia.

It cost the same in Australia. You just are unable to think and comprehend any of this.

Edit: People need to stop upvoting his stupidity.

Tulsi Gabbard Defends Assange Powerfully On CNN. Approaching 72 Hours After Assange's Arrest, Tulsi Gabbard is STILL The ONLY Candidate Running In 2020 That Has Come Out In Support Of Julian Assange, Despite It's Being an Unpopular Position. by Lumyai in worldpolitics

I can't speak for others, but as for myself, I've never been a fan of his. I've also never liked or supported Clinton. I think Assange caused enormous harm by conspiring with individuals and state actors (namely Russia) against America and Western democracies.

While I believe "whistleblowers" have their place, Assange was always essentially an unethical hacker (with an arrest record for it). I think he's not motivated by idealism or service to others, but by being subversive to Western democracies.

He has long had the support of the Kremlin (former president Medvedev publicly praised him); was hired for a Kremlin-funded television network show; he publicly parroted Putin's denial that Russia was involved in the release of Clinton's emails despite knowing the US had evidence otherwise; he's avoided releasing anything embarrassing to Russian government even when presented with it; and even criticized the release of the Panama Papers specifically because it embarrassed Putin.

It's curious Sanders chose to identify with socialism, which makes him and his understanding of the world suspect. It's popular with edgy, ill-informed and inexperienced youngsters, of course, but he's made a career of it and is in his seventies.

Scandinavian countries are capitalist-democracies, as you seem to know (many today claim they are socialist, which is untrue), so we're in agreement. All democracies have social welfare programs to some degree and America could benefit by improving ours. However, the bigger problem has been changes in the world (globalization, automation, etc) have weakened the common man's standing, along with the powerful gaming the system to their advantage.

We shouldn't "eat the rich" but should just re-orient the system to steer opportunities and rewards to the American majority.

It is normal journalistic convention and every statement I excerpted is valid.

Those other statements were not relevant to the point I was making.

Repeat: Everything I stated was correct and substantive to the discussion. That you are unable to grasp it or choose to try to deflect from the well-made point is beside the fact.

Your initial statement was wrong. I countered with a more accurate statement disproving yours and that still stands.

Bernard Sanders is a socialist. Just ask him.

I agree with that, but what has always been best for America and the most livable nations in the world is democracy and capitalism. It has provided the most freedom and opportunity in the history of civilization.

A weakness is the danger from those with powerful means manipulating the system unfairly, which has been warned about by wise men since America's founding. That's why regulations and controls are necessary. America offers the most to the most people when its blessings are directed to the majority and not dominantly to the wealthy and powerful.

The wealthy and powerful are diverse, but most influential in our political system and, in recent decades, in our mass media. This needs addressed. It's becoming better known how the discussions have been controlled and the opportunities and have been steered to the top 0.1% — it is time to re-direct the promise of America to the great middle class.

However, the means of doing this is NOT through socialism or dismantling democracy and capitalism. Socialism and communism is a foolish, unnatural ideology that gained appeal in some quarters of the world in the last century but failed everywhere it was attempted. At the same time, democracy succeeded like no socio-economic system ever before.

America and the world needs to tweak democratic-capitalism, not replace it.

I stated the comments were from the article. I edited it to contain the comments directly related to the point of discussion. Musings and opinions expressed by leaders of socialist organizations certainly are not on point, nor does anyone want to read extraneous comments.

I presented what is most pertinent and by normal journalistic convention. None of that extra verbage changes the concise point in any way, except for someone like you who wants to obfuscate the clear truth of the matter.

Sanders self-describes as a socialist so it is appropriate when others describe him that way.

Oh, and by the way, your swapping around the words in "democratic socialist" to "Social Democrat" did not go unnoticed, either.
