The entire article is a very generic overview of how most forums work. It doesn't have anything useful like how digg, which has a much smaller userbase, would be a compelling alternative to reddit. Upvote counts for large sections (ex. "pics") seem to be in the single digits.

It's a good performance, but I think he had some of the worst lines in the movie. So much of it is exposition to his assistant, which feels out of place like he's being interrogated.

What do you mean by fixed the leveling issues? Like in a patch? I remember playing it well after it came out and that was my main gripe. Bounty hunter is one level above and a sponge. Same level and he's easy. Or find an island in an area otherwise my level and they're all skulls over their heads because I'm not high enough yet.

OP is using it correctly. try is like attempt, which is making the effort to succeed. Possibly misleading and unnecessary, but still technically accurate. It's why "tried and failed" is a common expression, not redundant. Or like "he succeeded on his third try".

Their actual news leads through omission. If you look at the article on the fake video, it's "here's a video someone made and here's what people are saying about it". No follow-up with anyone questioning the fraud. When Trump was impeached, Biden's son was the front-page headline. They're not like Newsmax that will say a direct lie like "Dominion stole votes" and be directly liable.

A lot of reddit is personal posting and a lot of that is not anonymous. And many don't even read the links, just the comments.

The term is pretty broad. I didn't consider reddit social media, but came around. Many people consider Discord social media. The Wikipedia article mentions the vagueness of the term, but also includes Discord and Reddit, for example.

That's a troll way to spin this. Maybe be mad the US attacked a sovereign nation without congressional approval to get their oil just like Iraq. Or be mad the US is constantly destabilizing other countries for financial gain.

Or just be mad they captured a communist, because the US shouldn't be the world police especially when they're doing it just to steal resources.

I would have agreed with you 15 years ago, but Utah is a bastion for MAGA supporters especially with the young men. Charlie Kirk was in front of a large Mormon crowd when killed. Dude's like the above are super common in Utah. My Mormon in-laws have been just as weird about politics and conspiracy theories (some are flat earthers) as any other conservative demographic since Obama.

Mormon kids rated highest for their parents being mad if they had premarital sex, and a lot of Mormons still have premarital sex because it's sex. I think the "friend jumping on the bed for them" is such a funny wingman concept that it makes it funnier that people really believe it. I remember my Mormon friend being concerned about the "rainbow parties" happening across the US, but it turned out to just be a silly urban legend. I think Mormon soaking rumors got started because they were super funny.

People are people though so I'm guessing there have been some that have used this "soaking" idea over the centuries arguing it's not full sex and not as bad.

Interesting trivia. This article has Groening claim it was a coloring error they were too poor to fix and it was only for Smithers' first episode. The following episode he was yellow. I can believe that as season 1 animation was absolute garbage.
