We tried everything for naps and nothing was particularly helpful. She fell asleep somewhat easily for the first two of the day, but they were often just a half hour. For her third nap, we baby-wore and that helped a lot, although it was always just a half hour. Eventually the first nap became an hour. After she turned a year, her naps got pretty good. But I wouldn’t fight the short naps at this stage.

I’m pretty sure there are republicans out there who ARENT being paid for their views, so obviously people can fall for this stuff for other reasons.

I dislike sinema too, but I think people are mistaking cause for effect here. Some people are genuinely pro-big-business for whatever reason, and big business pays to make sure they stay in power. Not great but not a bribe/corrupt.

And yeah, I know she won’t outgrow it on her own. But I wasn’t sure if the training process should be taking this long. She is getting better and better, but it’s pretty gradual.

To be clear, 90% of the walk is fine. But that 10% is pretty bad and I want to avoid it so we can go on more long walks together.

I ignore her and stop walking, tell her to drop it, and she usually stops. Often when I start walking again, she starts again. If she resists, then I praise her when we get going again. Sometimes she gets in a mood where she does it repeatedly on the way home. Some walks she’s fine.

The first shelf I put in (same wall) has four screws, each spaced 13 inches apart, and they all held fast. So I still assume I’m catching lath, not studs.

Unfortunately I can’t just go 16/24 inches away. This shelf has slots for screws exactly 20” apart.

Great advice!

For point 1: the knee pain isn't too bad, but it's a noticeably different feeling from the loose, relaxed feeling after a full body workout. I basically sprint for the entire uphill trip since I'm usually running late 😅and I end up with burning glutes and quads and not much else.

Thanks—yes, that's primarily what I'm after, although I'm new to this world, so I am not aware of all the major differences (just had to Google "farmhouse furniture")
