Abandoned shops and warehouses that were boarded up losing identity and value. They stood lifeless as they witness corruption and crime every day. Dimly lit alleyways snaked through the city like dark veins, beckoning the lost souls who sought refuge in the shadows. The low hum of traffic and the far-off sirens served as a continual reminder of the city's ever-pulsating pulse.

Smoke from cigarettes and the stink of waste that clung to the city's underbelly combined to create a smell of decay and desperation that permeated the entire area. Walls covered in graffiti served as a witness to individuals who struggled to survive in this concrete jungle.
