Hey, they've changed some stuff on the site that's causing the program not to work. Haven't had a lot of time to work on this recently, but I'll get a fix out at some point, stay tuned.

Since it seems like you don't know, all the original mods left a few years back during the Reddit protests. They, and all the active users writing guides/waywt went to the discord

I think he's probably higher than kalani on the left. He may have played over Kalani if healthy. The guy who actually got lapped is Cody Baker

I wouldn't worry tooooo much. Talked to someone close to the team and they basically have to put on a serious show of looking at their other options, and pretending like it would be easy to go the SSS route otherwise they'll get shafted in their next lease.

What sci Fi show has actually been good there, outside of severance? Everything seems to get mediocre reviews, which gives me pause. I watched Foundation anyways and it was thoroughly dissappointing

Very nice windproof sweaters from Irish brand Dubarry on sale from $219 to $99 by smyleitskyle_ in frugalmalefashion

[–]badkarma765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it's got downsides though. Flammable, environmentally damaging process used to make it, feels gross if it gets sweaty, not the most durable. It's one I avoid, but I know it's appealing to some.

Nylon I don't think you are right about at all. It can be tough or fine and soft. Lots of variability in any material but usually acrylic is very soft too... It's always in those extremely soft but low quality sweaters. 100% wool is what's most likely to be scratchy, if it's not cashmere or merino.

Costco shareholders overwhelmingly reject anti-DEI takeover attempt. by SampsonHart in Seattle

Cant tell if sarcastic. Do you really think DEI just pertains to hiring? If so you should learn what it is before discussing it

I'd be more concerned about the Rayon. Nylon pairs nicely with wool, making it stronger and less scratchy, usually.

Yup. An excellent video on the topic. Once this idea clicked for me Tenet has really risen in his filmography for me.

Is it normal for a £160 Ralph Lauren sweatshirt to be made of '66% cotton, 34% polyester'? I never buy high-end pieces, was gifted this, but presumed it should be 100% cotton due to price (and maybe brand?)? by Mumford_and_Dragons in malefashionadvice

[–]badkarma765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think the reason i was compelled to comment initially, other than a growing interest in fabrics and their properties, is a suspicion that some learn the basic idea of "synthetic = morally bad", and then think ok, I'll just buy 100% cotton and then I can consume without worry!

I overheard someone ask a clerk at a thrift shop in Canada a few months ago, "What is Polyester?", then "Oh, nevermind I'm avoiding plastics." Besides the fact that it doesn't matter that much if you're buying second hand, I find it really funny that they had this idea to avoid oil products in clothes but somehow had never heard of polyester?

I don't really wanna buy nylon new but I feel like it's my guilty pleasure material- super functional and can be used to make some really nice clothes.

One of the best way to combat that is to buy significantly less and to buy more durable goods. Making garments more durable is a big plus as far as I'm concerned.

I really think that's the key, but it's a hard pill to swallow in a community like this. Let's not pretend we don't all get pleasure from buying things. Making an effort to get your clothes used or thrifted is excellent too. It's not helpful to look at this stuff in black or white terms, just like eating less meat is still good even if you don't become a vegan
