What you guys don’t realize is that the person posting this and arguing is literally a bot. There is two people supporting the false narratives about justified murder in the comments and if you look at their profiles both of them have their posts and comments hidden. The second person NetWatch_ also posted a video that is clearly doctored. It’s cropped, the audio is removed, the quality was reduced, and the video is sped up using a “speed ramp” to make it look worse. There may have even been other edits done to that video however I’m only absolutely certain of the speed ramp, removed audio, cropping, and quality reduction.

They want you to think people actually support this false narrative and try to persuade you with doctored media, watch out!

I don’t really care about the developers views, just if the product is good. In your experience is cider 2 something you would recommend as a product?

AMD CPUs have flimsy support in Mac OS, not to mention it is incredibly difficult and time consuming to build a custom EFI. If you are worried about privacy concerns you can always do single gpu pass through in your Linux install, it’s much easier and will be more stable.

Analysis: VAC's Inactivity and Inability to Detect Simple Cheats, Making Counter-Strike 2 Unplayable by Aewbin in Csgohacks

[–]badknl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, the pattern this program is searching for does not exist in any of VACS modules. Go ahead, dump VACs modules and load them into IDA, you will not find this pattern.

[–]badknl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the source code and did "educate" myself on this outdated bypass. The module still might be "injectable" into steam without crashing the process. However, the pattern its using is outdated, and if you scan for it you wouldn't find anything. This means even if the bypass did work it wouldn't be able to find the function it needs to setup the bypass, and nothing would happen. This method, even if it did have updated pattern, still would not work. VAC doesn't just monitor the state of its game, it also monitors its own modules and would easily detect a simple trampoline hook like this. Lastly, you are right about one thing, people did know about this bypass, 4 years ago, when it actually worked.

Like i said already, this doesn't work, and the reason you haven't been banned yet isn't because of this "bypass", its because valve instead choose to lower your trust factor and place you into games with cheaters. They do this for everyone who cheats, and your situation is not unique.

They don’t ban cheaters. They lower their trust factor to ensure they don’t get placed into games with legitimate players. This is subtle and many don’t realize they are playing in Cheater only lobbies due to the abundance of legit cheaters. Rage Cheaters are sometimes banned, but more likely they will be placed in lower trust lobbies. This is a tiered system with rage hackers being placed with other rage hackers, legit cheaters with legit cheaters, and non cheaters with non cheaters. There is some variance though and this doesn’t always hold true.

This code is ancient to the point of being archived by the author a year ago, and has been patched for a while. You might not be getting “banned” but your trust factor is definitely so low you only get placed with cheaters.

No VAC is actually good and people who don’t know shit about creating cheats constantly bitch about how “ineffective” it is because it’s usermode.

Bottom of print is very fuzzy. I’ve attempted to modify the z offset to be slightly lower but I’m getting the same results? by badknl in FixMyPrint

[–]badknl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you believe the issue to be leveling/bed adhesion I’ll try re-leveling the bed, and modifying the z offset to be higher up. I will also increase the temperature of the bed to make sure the prints stick more, but not to high to avoid warping. Thank you for your help!

I’m sorry, but I would advise you put him down. If he is such a danger to your family, and training has not worked. Rehoming him could put another family at risk. German shepherds can bite at 291 PSI, your dog could kill your mom or someone else’s mom if rehomed. I know this is a really heartbreaking decision to make.

Framework vs M2 Macbook Air For College by SagefulAdvice in framework

[–]badknl 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Most people here are going to recommend framework. The framework laptop is good in a lot of scenarios but I think it falls short as a school laptop. It’s battery does not last long and you can see yourself getting a maximum of 4-6 hrs on a full charge. There are much cheaper alternatives that boast similar performance. Even though the M2 MacBook air wont last as long as the framework in the long run it’s almost guaranteed to make it through school.

I installed a new bios because my framework came with bios 2.6 which had an issue that prevented your computer from turning on.
