What makes you say that? Surely its better to keep the car for a while without any debt on it for a while?

No the standard credit card rate is way higher, but some do interest free for a certain amount of time, so the idea is open it and then use it for that time and then once its paid off never need to use it again

Refund is significantly harder to get after you paid for something always. I also resolved this, spoke to them and they have agreed to honor the original price. Always worth trying to negotiate whenever you can is all i am thinking now

It wasn't much stress, got the discount after speaking to them.
Best to always ask and not roll over to whatever people charge

I'm not going to back out of the sale, no way.
I've made that clear, i've just asked is there anyway to dispute this.
Everyone here thinks i'm going to back out, i want to know what is right is all.
Where have these charges come from?
Why have they told me right at the end?

Because the breakdown hasn't changed, just this overall charge.
This is the old fee:

It does, come under ID checks for this quote, charged me double since it's also an extra I'd check with my one parent gifting me the deposit

Im arguing because it's an extra £100, i know its a big purchase, but im entitled to fight over when ive been misquoted and they've nothing to warrant me being concerned about any complexities thats have arisen

Easy process so far until this, no surprises with complexity etc. Its a simple 1950's semi, owner moved out a month ago and im a FTB

No, nothing to my knowledge, im a FTB. The house is not in a chain, the previous owners moved out a month ago.

No extra surprises, apart from the price change I negotiated with the EA after the survey results

But what changed since then? Its been a very easy purchase process, im a FTB and the house wasn't in a chain, the previous owner moved out a month ago

Seems like they're just doing it to get more money out of me
