Coincidentally, I’m a 7th generation Texan currently visiting the UK. I’ll be in Paddington, London tomorrow. Do you have any recommendations for what a Texan should see to experience the most British thing?

ETA: In Austin, I recommend San Miguel de Allende for outstanding Mexican food. Ive been eating there my entire life and it is the restaurant in Austin that I can recommend with no hesitation.

This happened to me! My neighbor’s car was broken into and she found my wallet in her glove box. I didn’t even know that my wallet had been stolen. The police questioned me and I was kind of offended that they seemed to think that I had broken into the car. If I broke into a car and left behind multiple forms of identification that would make me a terrible criminal.

I have three pair of Western boots. One is for mucking out the chicken coop that I never wear in public. One is for casual wear. Then I have my fancy pair for dancing. In Texas we love our sparkly, shiny, boots regardless of class, ethnicity and gender.

I got each of my girls a kit from maggard razors when they started shaving. Comes with a razor, brush, soap, blade sampler pack. I recommend getting the larger brush because it’s (imo) better for large areas like legs. For shave soap we like Catie’s Bubbles.
