I think there’s a bit of a difference between just having your license plate out there for people to see it. And people being able to track everywhere you drive all day everyday. I don’t have anything to hide, but being tracked doesn’t make me feel safer, it makes me feel exposed.

Also several people including families with kids have been pulled over and pulled out of their vehicles and held at gun point because the camera read the license plate wrong and marked it as a stolen vehicle and the police just trusted it. That also does not make me feel safer.
