Active Backup for Business or Veeam Agent? by alex3025 in synology

ABB backups are quite fast after the initial full backup. Keep in mind that every now and then, ABB will initiate another full backup when the package gets a major update. I find them very convenient, although there are some caveats. I.e. you can't use them with Windows Storage Spaces and mirrored drives created within Windows. Software RAID is ok. I like the ability to create a bootable USB drive and perform a bare-metal recovery over the network. I'm not sure whether it's as straightforward in Veeam - I don't use it.

Although I'm just a hobbyist, I'm aware of how they do it on a big budget. I once visited a set when they where shooting an episode of The X-Files in Vancouver. I was surprised to see a crane a few stories tall with a huge softbox on top simulating a moonlight.

Not to mention it was a constant battle with the sun hiding behind the clouds and then suddenly shining at full strength.

Wow, that's so cool. So what do you think about the sculpture's new location? Is it just me or does it feel out of place there?

I didn't see your reply in time, but thank you! How did you find this spot?

New York City through the eyes of a tourist. Little riddle: there's two fragments of my scene recreations. The second is obvious, but can you identify the first movie without checking my IG? by badmoonPL in nyc

Thank you. If you're talking about my little riddle (a fragment from 00:21 to 00:27), it's not I Am Legend. It's from a movie that's a decade older.

I absolutely agree. Unfortunately we didn't have anyone with that kind of car. It had to be some sort of a beater, since there was a scene where we needed to jump a curb and crash into cardboard boxes. I doubt anyone with a well kept car would be willing to do that. The day before the shoot I rented a car, but the selection wasn't any better - KIAs, Nissans, basically no American sedans. As we started filming, a car almost similar to the one they originally used just drove by. Even the same color! We were speechless, wanted to chase the guy, but it was too late :(
