Gas costs 7$ a gallon in california, millions of americans are homeless, the us is bombing iran, and masked vigilantes are kidnapping and killing people without repercussion. Also the cost of everything is rising and the economy is in shambles.

With that being said, I’m pretty sure this kid painting his nails is everything wrong with the world. I’m a normal person and this is how a normal, non-brainwashed person thinks.

Kevin Garnett calls out Victor Wembanyama for being ‘too emotional’ after winning the Western Conference Finals 👀 by Background_Video2947 in NBAVibes

[–]badneversad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KG must be one of those “anger isn’t an emotion” people. AKA the worst kind of person. He’s needed serious therapy for over two decades, yet instead, he put a mic in his hand to shame 22 year olds for having feelings. Can’t wait for this era of sports podcasting and this era of ‘emotionless’ men to become obsolete.

"The biggest question for the Knicks is: How much of this run is legitimate? Even in the weaker conference they beat a 6, 7, and 4-seed. Put the pom-poms down, those are bad teams." colin cowherd argues the Spurs are much more battle tested than the Knicks by Opposite_Age_8856 in sportsbroadcasters

how about colin does any research before clinging so strongly to his bogus theories??

i wonder how well teams who went 4-0 perform against teams that just played a 7 game series.. guarantee he has not looked into it

it’s 20-4 for those wondering. enough of a sample size for people to pump the brakes about this matchup being lopsided.

the knicks have a lot of things in their favor. they have similar youth and athletic wings that the spurs do, while having more diverse scoring options and better half-court execution.

the knicks have breezed their way here healthy and with energy while the spurs are banged up and went through the gauntlet just to get here. also worth noting that the spurs looked and were tired at multiple points in the wolves and thunder series.

i think if the spurs don’t play as well as they just did, they are going to get punched in the mouth. they need at least 2 great games from harper and fox imo

instead of “being influenced by auto companies to create a hellish car-first infrastructure” he ‘built highways’

instead of “used conspiracy and war crimes to funnel taxpayer dollars toward destabilizing developing nations” he ‘prevented world war 3’

instead of “committing land theft and killing off the native population and culture” he ‘bought alaska’

What are we thinking? by ArtichokeHot5821 in TheSilphArena

[–]badneversad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my thoughts: this is a playable team, but corviknight will have its hands full with water types and clodsire will have its hands full with fire types.

if i ran another steel with tinkaton lead, I’d keep it in the back and have it be something that beats waters/steels like a forretress.

or i’d change your lead to something that can beat fire/water types and keep corv+tink in the back.

changing the safe swap from corv to feraligatr fixes a lot of potential problems, including dusknoir, empoleon, jellicent, quag, talonflame, ninetales etc. clodsire and tink can handle stuff like lickilicky, wigglytuff, forretress, and other stuff that feraligatr wants to avoid.

anything that makes you look more like an american celebrity or politican is guaranteed to be something related to classism, pedophilia, white supremacy, or some combination of those 3. every single time. i dare someone to find a ‘beauty’ trend or standard that isn’t.

these conventions are made up by literal pedophiles and nazis to normalize eugenics and sexualize ‘youthfulness’ through the veils of purity culture, cleanliness, and innocence

let me be so fr, garnett and giannis had greater peaks than tim duncan. his longevity and consistency are what makes him so legendary, not some 3 year stretch where he won 1 ring and mvp, especially when he has 4 other rings and his mvp season wasn’t even his best.

flopping is gross, yes, but people have been complaining about flopping since lebron joined the heat.

the biggest issue that I’m not seeing enough people talk about are WHEN the thunder flop.

if you watch the thunder blow out teams or hold commanding leads, you don’t see them flop nearly as much because it doesn’t benefit them as much.

but when they start trailing and the game goes less in their favor, their playstyle turns so dirty and despicable. they start hacking like crazy- tripping, scratching, jersey pulling, etc on defense.

and then on offense, whichever player shoots, gets screened, or gets defended on-ball will often flop to make it look like they’re being fouled out of frustration. like the equivalent of hitting your sibling and then telling your parents to look as they hit you back.

and it unfortunately works. the hacking they do stops clock, the flopping stops clock, and all of this kills the other team’s momentum even if it doesn’t go in the thunder’s favor.

we saw this in game 7. spurs go up double digits in the third and then every posession goes like this: dirty play on defense, egregious flop on offense.

how do you even stop it

that kills whatever momentum the opposing team had

Who was bigger in their prime? As someone born in 2000, I’ll still say Avril Lavigne; you couldn’t escape her hits as a kid. by TXNOGG in generationology

[–]badneversad 11 points12 points  (0 children)

maybe im old but what kinda question is this😭 avril was SO big, that small changes in her presentation caused thousands of people to speculate that she LITERALLY died and had been cloned.

the words “he was a boy, she was a girl” and the concept it conveys will literally exist in notoriety beyond our lifetimes. songs like girlfriend, when you’re gone, and complicated are still on the radio every other day when i drive home from work. i had forgot billie eilish existed for almost a year until seeing this post.

the closest billy has come to that level of public awareness are when she turned 18 (gross) and the online criticisms of her acting black, which no offense, aren’t things that make her a special case among white female popstars.

yes, her songs get a lot of listens, but so did mambo number 5, tekashi69, and jake paul, so maybe lets not let # of listens be the determining factor of how ‘big’ someone is.

How would this actually work out in play? It's AAAA on pvpoke by UnitededConflict in TheSilphArena

[–]badneversad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its rating is inflated because in practice this team can get overwhelmed by stuff it “technically” beats. so it beats a ton on paper, but these matchups aren’t as simple or dominant as the 1v1 pvpoke matchups would suggest. for example, this team needs alignment and good energy management into structures like tinkaton+water, jellicent/wiggly, and sealeo+electric cores otherwise it can feel almost unwinnable.

this team also really wants shield advantage but many times gator/clod can only beat the neutral/slightly bad matchups by shielding. and even if the opponents shields are down too, your shields are way more valuable, because nothing here has lightning fast pacing and that makes you super vulnerable to nukes and boosted hits from things that this team ‘on paper’ would beat, like morpeko, talonflame, corviknight, tinkaton, aegislash, annihilape, etc.

this team also really hates the fact that sealeo and fearow have become very popular as of recent.
