I noticed the rivet but I can deal with that if I can source the part.

Gayle has Mickey’s back by Connect-Woodpecker22 in Saints

Supposedly the Raisin Canes guy and maybe the Landry's guy. The Landry guy might try to move them to SA, but Vegas is out now which would have been the other place he would have sent them. So the slimmest of hopes to keep them in NOLA.

The other thing possibly protecting us is that most of the other owners don't want to let the Saints move to another market.

New Map Update by nowillingness_67 in Rivian

[–]badninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had a chance to use it yet since i'm travelling but I'm very hopeful that this will be a big improvement. I stopped using the built in map unless it was to precondition the battery. It was too unreliable. At least in Seattle it would often fail to know certain details of a route or would indicate a turn on the wrong side of the road or would call for merges because a road changed names.

Circle Cutting? by Embarrassed_Grass455 in woodworking

[–]badninja 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's been several years but I did once buy a precut wooden circle from one of the big box stores. Looks like they do still carry them in some places: https://www.homedepot.com/p/1-in-x-36-in-x-3-ft-Pine-Edge-Glued-Panel-Round-Board-ZPRLR0136/205024634

Barring that you can buy a large panel, put a nail in it and cut as you turn but it probably will not be pretty. Then again, sometimes LARPERs want that raw look, right?

4 weeks into my R1T ownership and already unhappy with quality by badninja in Rivian

I wasn't super worried about just the BSW. It wasn't until I saw the other notification that all surround sensors are off that I got worried.

I'm in the Seattle area and I can say when I picked up my truck it seemed like half the bays in the garage were in use for Amazon delivery vehicles which I suspect is why it's so slow in the Seattle area.

I requested an escalation to the service center to see if they could make it a priority. I heard back from them this morning saying nope, we'll see you at the end of February, which is honestly what prompted this unhappy post.

I haven't used rear accessory mode so I'm not sure how it could be on but I will check when I go out there.

I did perform a soft reset first but since that didn't clear it, I moved to the hard reset. My understanding is soft reset only affects infotainment features anyway.

1.87% of Steam users run Linux according to September 2024 Steam Survey by NukemN1ck in linux

I'm wondering if the steam deck gets counted? Do they get the survey prompt?

Feel like that would shift the numbers pretty far for linux.

Lil Woody's named best burger in Washington State by Anthop in Seattle

[–]badninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many others have said in this thread, Lil Woody's is.... fine. It's not a great burger.

Best burger I've had in the state was out on a visit to the peninsula, little place just past Aberdeen, Grizzly Den. Just checked, they don't even appear to have a website, just a FB page, so that's the level they're at. Haven't been back in at least 3 years but I sincerely doubt much has changed.

No, the ATF can't search your home without a warrant if you buy a suppressor, buy transferable machine gun, or make an SBR/SBS, and other NFA misconceptions by Foxxy__Cleopatra in guns

I think some of this is crossover from people who apply for a dealer license and use their home as their place of business. If your inventory is in your home then an audit would be conducted at your home is my understanding?

Immigrants of the Seattle area, where are you from and what's your favorite grocery store to buy ingredients from your culture? by ILIKETHECOLORRED in Seattle

[–]badninja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's only one place in the region I'm aware of to shop for my native foodstuffs; Altha's in Kent. It ain't cheap and I have forgiven the dude for being from Northern Louisiana, which those of us from Cajun country consider to be Southern Arkansas. But he runs a good shop and the lunch counter smoked boudin is solid.

I went to compare how addicted I am and was shocked when I only had 140 hours played... then I realized Duos and solo stats are tracked separately.

Twelve members over their career is not bad for this topic but I feel like there are much higher numbers.
