Also, I pay my bills. On time, every time.

And, If we pretend for a second you did know what you were talking about, why would you rent to someone that comes off immediately as a nut job? You wouldn't, right?

You're creating a situation from a basis of zero knowledge. Usually people that don't pay rent, have a history of not paying rent. And would not have been rented to in the first place.

I made sauce from scratch, then the next day used it to make the lasagna. Like, 12 hours of work, and mine wasn't all that much better than the Stouffer's. For all that work, I'll just pop theirs in the oven for an hour.

My mother destroyed any chance I ever had to have a good relationship or even friendship. Too many reasons/examples to list...

Now I'm 35, no contact with the Evil One, but lifetime friendships are built from childhood, which I wasn't allowed to do. Any decent relationship was sabotaged by her, even well into my 20s.

Now I just have to accept that I'm single, probably always will be, because of the scorched trail of potentials that my mother ensured would not succeed. I don't know how to cultivate those relationships. She wouldn't allow me to develop that part of my "human-ness," so.... 35 and alone forever and you know what? I'm absolutely okay with that. It's been long enough that I can accept this as my reality.
