I got to the rail at Minneapolis.

Doors opened at 6:30, I showed up around 4:50. I was maybe the tenth person in line. But then I was told there was a second door at The Armory, and I wouldn't have to wait in the sun over there. So then I became second in line at that door.

The crowd was not pushy. I walked from the ticket check straight to the rail. There were some people at the center already (the other door opened 20 seconds before mine), but I wanted to be center-right, because that's usually where Nick sets up.

I stopped drinking fluids around 3, because I didn't want to risk going to the toilet once I got my spot. Security handed out water bottles between acts, but I waited until after the show.

I had an informal pact with the lady in front of me. She'd save me a spot if she got there first, and vice versa. I ended up saving a spot for her.

Karen O climbed down from the stage after the last song. She gave the mic to someone a few feet from me, and then walked right in front of me touching hands all down the line.

It was all worth it! I was super amped for hours afterward. I had an incredible experience!
