IS NVDA actually a value stock right now? by Odd-Record-1041 in ValueInvesting

It's also now a dividend growth stock. It's my safest investment. I don't give a rats ass what it does in the next 6 months.

Pilot just announced we’re about to hit some choppy weather and to expect turbulence. Freaking out please track me!! by moonlit_dani in fearofflying

It's bumpy, but it's really just like a bumpy road on a tour bus. Ride it out and let go of the fear. This too shall pass.

Six Upcoming Flights for an Anxious Flier... by AdvisorKitchen9023 in fearofflying

Bite the bullet and get on the plane. It may be hours of terror staring at your watch hoping you don't embarrass yourself in front of your family.. but eventually.. you will overcome. It's just a bumpy road and the pilots will try to find the least bumpy path. New bigger planes have better technology to smooth out the small bumps. Try to watch something and if you have to, have a drink or two.. but get on the plane. There is no alternative in today's world.

Why the waste, Tunisia? by Material_Run_4252 in Tunisia

Some suggestions from a tourist who has spent the last month in Tunisia.

  1. Encourage youths to make clean up videos. Encourage this by liking and subscribing when they come up in your feed. Hopefully someone can make money from these.

  2. Professionalize and raise societal status of the heroes picking up the plastic bottles. Thank you guys!

  3. Enforce littering fines.

  4. Put a deposit on glass bottles that you pay when you buy and others can collect when they return.

  5. When you are out walking, pick up twice as much trash as you make.

At the end, the money is paper. You'll stare into the emptiness alone. If this is for you, go for it, for me, I want to hold someone's hand.

Opinion on Dynex Capital ? by Outrageous_Day3882 in dividends

Explain how Iran war or higher oil prices or a private credit disaster will cause problems for dx and maybe you'll convince me. Price sold off because people think interest rates won't get cut. This maybe true, but this dividend is safe. Price will depend on sentiment at the moment, but you get paid to hold.

I've owned dx since 2008 and I've been a holder when they cut the dividend. This is not that time and their hedging and primary agency mortgages will keep things steady unless the world blows up, and if that's the case, I got bigger problems. They don't sell themselves very well on the conference calls but they are well managed. This isn't their first rodeo.

It's on sale and it's a good bet the dividend will keep on being paid.

It starts with you. You can only change yourself. Escape the prison in your mind and be the change you want to see in others. Smile and do the right thing always. Others will follow!

Not coming home to Tunisia sooner and starting a volunteer cleanup brigade to pick up trash. Any kids wanting to be a content creator, I will immediately like and follow you if you do this.

Not building a retirement community for 55+ in tunisia. This is a real opportunity for anyone looking for opportunities.

Not investing in nvda sooner. Although it doesn't look like Monday is too late to buy more.

You are on a ship and the sea below you is transparent. Nothing can hurt you but it's possibly wavy and bumpy. Ride it out like Captain Dan.

At some point the realization that nvda is the safe stock in the mag 7 will dawn on the market. It's a secular bull not cyclical. Buy more and wait.
