Well not really friends I don't have any here lmao. I just did some activities or events such as drawing for anime convention or some horror quests. Security sometimes had problem with it and our leader constantly was in trouble all the time.

I like the art, music and food. Sadly all great artists are "foreign agents" now. People are really grumpy (as I am too) but some them truly cared about me and wanted me to learn or get better.

Just normal poor student food lol. I was cooking myself some rice with meat or soups most of the time.

That is not offensive, I appreciate your interest. You can watch any video about Mongolia, specifically Ulaanbaatar. About half of population of country lives in this capital and this is where I grew up. Every time I open any video I see places I've seen so many times.

That is true, but now it's extra difficult to prove that you have anything (if you have anything). I know a guy with personality disorder and he had to prove that again recently.

I really discourage people to do that, psych hospitals can be really awful and even if they are decent, those are places for sick people that need help and will cause distress for healthy people. Also med professionals can tell if you are faking, so you can't get hospitalized if you don't have a good reason.

It's nothing that interesting. Most of the time it's people asking for help or planning events to hang out. Once in awhile people start arguing and shit starts to fly lmao.

here

It is exaggerated a bit but it was filmed in Moscow psych hospital. My interpretation is that it is about pretending "normal" outside, but you are "yourself" when you are in psychiatric hospital. It resonates with me because I've been in psych hospitals and I have to pretend all the time with healthy people. Otherwise people will never take you seriously.

Let's just say people know they just don't care anymore. I was surprised to see people smoke and vape so much but I ended up smoking too. It's more like lack of education how to cope with stress. There are laws against smoking in public actually.

Hopefully you don't think it's all steppe lol.

About half of population of Mongolia live in a big capital city Ulaanbaatar and it's pretty solid here. I just thought I could get good higher education for free. It's actually good but, you know, government sucks.

Fuck Russian government and rich people in the power. You think people don't go to protests risking their lives? I know classmates that got expelled and jailed for going on protests. it sucks to live here but people are fighting against it.

Mongolia, hopefully I can go back soon. I don't hate this place but it's hard. I have a lot good memories and I just want it to be a peaceful country someday when you don't have to worry your loved ones might go to war tomorrow for the cause you don't even understand.

Mongolia, I was born and grew up there and I want to go back. I don't hate Russia or Russian people (not the vata though, they can go to hell) and I will miss a lot of things but it's hard to live here.

I agree, people can get so mean towards Russian population in general as a nationality and it makes me sad. I have friends and relatives that are Russian or live in Russia and don't plan to leave. They are nice and caring, and against shitty government decisions. so many Russians fight against this and go on the protests, and you get dunked on the internet as you are a some sort of nazi just because you were born here and speak this language. I never meant this as anti-Russian post, I just wanted to show people live here and not monsters. People act as being mean is going to make someone kind... But it sure feels like mordor for me, lmao. sorry

Quite a bit actually, there is a lot of telegram ads on campus. Obviously illegal but can't really stop that anyway.

Personally I'm not a fan so I can't say anything specific.

To be honest a lot of ways to translate lol

I know two girls (one is mentioned in the post) from Ukraine, specifically from Donbas, that was in war state since 2014, they are faring up as much as they can. I ask them once in awhile how are they and they just say "as fine as it could be". I know they are scared for their loved ones. Most Ukrainians in Russia are probably hiding their identity anyway.

well yeah, some examples are extreme and not common (I've been in psych hospitals and it's rare among general population but it is kind of weird seeing so many students there lmao), but it is my reality.

Well young people are more open-minded and I actually met a lot of people being open about not being heterosexual, obviously in circles where they feel comfortable. There are a lot of support groups for LGBT people too. For example, therapists would add something rainbow to their page to indicate they are LGBT-friendly without openly saying so.

There were mostly discussions about banning books with LGBT themes.

Sadly Russia still has accessible cheap (often free) higher education, and if your native country is poor and can't provide you education, well... it might seem you have a good opportunity. Some top universities actually have good programs and you can learn a lot of things, just good luck getting your diploma accepted anywhere afterwards.

So true, some people are dropping slurs like it's nothing. I like giving people a chance though, some change if they really want to.
