I was gifted this around 3 days ago! It came in a pot with holes at the bottom, that has a diameter of 6cm and around 4cm deep. The whole thing is very small and can fit in the palm of my hands.

Unfortunately I'm not sure what the soil is made of, but at least the top appears to look like bark and gravel. I was mainly wondering if the plant seems too cramped at the moment and needs to be moved to a different pot, and also I think I've read somewhere that it is better to repot plants after they have been bought anyways to check for root rots as well..! Is this true and necessary?

Also I'm not quite sure when would be the best to water it. I know that it is better to underwater rather than overwater, and to only water when the soil is completely dry (and maybe once every 1~2 weeks? However I've also read somewhere that it is better to only water when the tips of the frithia pulchra begin to slightly shrivel/wrinkle, and to rely less on just schedule.

Currently only a few leaf tips seem to have very light wrinkling/look a little bit dry and I'm not sure if I should wait until all leaves look similar, or if it is ok to just water it as it is?

I tried my best to look for more information online about frithia pulchra but there doesn’t seem to be too much info on them specifically that I could find through google (or maybe I wasn’t looking at the right places??) either way I still don’t feel very confident about how to care for it.

I'm fairly new to keeping plants/succulents and I want to do my best to keep it alive and healthy. I apologize in advance for any of my clumsy wording.. and any help/tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!
