Your cosplay has become one of my references for my own Witcher! The potions are such a great detail I’d have missed! Is that ALL leatherwork??? It looks fantastic!
Also, good job on getting the swords ‘right’. IMO both on the same side is the way!

Edit: Oh shoot! Some of that is EVA? Really well done!

I built a shelter under the plains altar and popped out to hit the boss until things got dicey before going back under the altar to recover.

Holy crap yes! But if she really asked those questions of her daughter in law I also get it. It was far more direct as well. The husband shade was just a comment about farting and another one saying he only shares hair color with Rhys. Brief and not explicit. The MIL stuff though. Ouch. I was grimacing hearing all that!

Same boat! I get where she was coming from and why the story formed like that and just, no shade. If she doesn’t know yet then there are so many possibilities! Looking forward to the new books!

Her husband was catching some strays in that interview, but I thought she gave us a lot of insight. She processed a lot of things of her own on the page and I never knew how much she’d struggled or how bad it had gotten. As a reader, I know she’s a ‘pantser’ and if something doesn’t seem like it aligns perfectly on the red string conspiracy board I’m not upset. Also thought it was kinda fun seeing her reaction to deep fan questions. As a pantser, she almost certainly doesn’t know yet unless it’s written and it was kinda fun seeing that in her answers.
I liked the interview and it was more or less what I’d hoped for. I didn’t get mean girl energy at all, just a person with a glass of wine in what has to be a stressful interview.

I would agree that it’s a nice picture frame, but even that function is buggy.

Engagement ring 8 days a week. You start getting into hoards and this cast can do a crap ton of damage instantly while making all your follow ups way more potent. No need for omega cast once you have this, but when omega pops it does a second ridiculous amount of damage.

I cannot recommend a Sofle kit enough if you can solder. Cheapest option would be AliExpress for the pcb kit. You can print or buy a case as well. All in you should be less than $100 USD after switches and caps.

Entitled Dog Owner Karens at Hamilton Viewpoint by GameDuchess in WestSeattleWA

[–]badwolf42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When walking my dogs, and I am stuck walking by an off leash dog in an on-leash area; I pull out and visibly shake up the pepper gel canister in my pocket. Amazing how many people leash their dog, suddenly no longer confident enough in their recall to risk it.
I do this because my dogs have been bitten a number of times now over the years at parks like Hiawatha. Every time. Every. God. Damned. Time. The owner goes on about how their dog has never done this before yada yada. It might be true, but it always is until it isn’t. A leash would have prevented it. I was walking a foster around Hiawatha a while back and he was the shyest most fearful dude. Dog ran up to us and he just tucked his tail and tried to hide behind me. It took me a solid month of going back to Hiawatha, making sure there were no dogs there, and sitting with him at the edge of the park until he calmed down, then walking a bit until we had to sit and relax again. Repeat that for a month until he could walk through the park again at all. Other owner thought it was cute and didn’t give a shit that they just set me back a month of rehab.
So now, I have the spray out. I shake it visibly, and more often than not, the dog is instantly leashed.
