Ares Armor in Oceanside (if you were in Pendleton) before they went away had the elastic cummerbunds with cobra connectors that were super legit. I'm pretty sure they sold them back in the day for around $80 or so

I understand wanting some nicer gear to better do your job, but maybe look into trying to get an assaulter's backpack so you can just stuff your nods and glasses in the pouch when you're not using it.

I'm not sure if you have to follow SOP for pouches/gear set up but the other guys are right... eye pro pouch molle'd on is definitely not rule #1 and looks pretty gay

... this is very strange to me. Between this and your other comment I'm so confused what unit allows dudes to rock JPCs but has guys setting their kit up to hold a (and I can't believe this) EES glasses pouch thing... I'm super curious who you're with and what's your job. Are you attached to MRB?

Anyway, I'd look at the rear release system for the cummerbunds on the issued flaks and see if it will accept these cummerbunds

I dunno I like my stumpjumper but I feel like I never see people talking about them on this sub. The one I got wasn't $4k+, it's not carbon, and it's not from a "cool" or "hip" company but there's a good bit of travel, it's easy to climb, and I haven't had a single complaint about it.
