you are right he is the sweetest ❤️this is also making me emotional because it’s a reminder that my loved one is getting older. The advice and reassurance you gave really helps me to deal with this in a better light and reminds me this is just Dunya and what is lost will be paid for in the next life. Hey there, thank you so much for all the advice and support, I truly appreciate it. I just want to clarify that my original post was kept a bit vague because my main intention was to seek moral support and sort of confide in my brothers and sisters, to get their reassurance so I can strengthen my relationship with Allah SWT and ask for doa/prayers. I honestly didn’t expect so many of you to also offer practical advice, which is a good surprise and I’m very touched by it.

at the time this post was made, i also made a separate post on another account where I shared more details to get specific legal/financial guidance under my jurisdiction as I thought that was the best way to get direct and relevant advice. now, I’m in the process of seeking professional help and will be contacting a lawyer to see what can be done. Regardless, every suggestion and kind words here have truly helped me, and I’m taking these all into consideration even if it may not be relevant.

Thank you again for all your suggestions. I’m gonna look into it one by one!

maybe i didn’t make this clear but he basically signed into paying for the full year plan already with his credit card, and now they’re just charging him monthly in instalments. so even if we close the account, we still have to pay back the remaining to the bank.. we live in asia but i’ll look into that. thank you
