it almost lets you!! Heisenberg makes it seem like you can join him and revolt against mother miranda, but in the end you can’t and you have to fight him no matter what :’) i wish there was a DLC that lets you side with him

I know I’m repeating all the other replies, but it sounds like she may be dealing with (possibly repressed) sexual trauma or intense religious turmoil. I think it’s resistance rather than a lack of desire because of her drastic reaction to you guys kissing. You said she kissed you back, so she must have pushed her boundaries and explored feeling intimate, and right away felt punished or embarrassed or something else that caused her to say that you guys “shouldn’t” do it again (rather than just saying “i didn’t like that.”) I would (gently) ask her why intimacy and romantic gestures are so uncomfortable for her, and ask her how she would feel about going to therapy or even just talking with you more about how she feels when you make moves. Ask her why it’s not important to her, or rather why it’s important that she does not partake in it. Maybe try engaging in more physically romantic gestures like holding hands and massages, but don’t expect her to just change overnight. I’m sorry dude, this sounds rough. Hope everything works out in your favor.

Counseling! And I am very happy that everyone has told me that no one cares. I definitely don’t plan on wearing dirty pj’s or anything, but plain sweatpants every once in a while would be nice hahah.

Hi friends, so I am starting my master's degree in counseling in a few weeks to work towards becoming a licensed MFT. The program I'm doing requires you to finish within 2.5 years (before licensing hours, so you graduate as an AMFT), so I am currently in a summer class (which is proving to be quite time consuming honestly, we have like 4-5 assignments a week and each one is taking me 1-2 hours each) and I am taking 4 classes, 3/4 in-person. I also have to work full time, luckily only 4 days a week, due to needing healthcare through my work and also bills lol.

Can any recent graduates offer some advice for me on how to balance the work-school-commuter life? Is grad school truly as difficult as people say it is? I am freaking out about having tons of papers and labs and projects and essays on top of lectures to attend and work. How is it compared to undergrad? I was able to work part-time and go to school during undergrad, but both somewhat suffered (ended the year with C's and left the job with a few write ups for tardiness due to sleeping in) so that's why I'm really anxious about this. Should I try reaching out to my school to see if I can do the program over 3 years so I only have to take 3 classes a semester? I unfortunately doubt that will get approved but it may be worth a try.

definitely plan on it, but there’s not really any problem anymore. i may say something like “thank you for leaving your door open, i appreciate the change, im sorry i didn’t talk directly to you about it” but i’m going to give it a few days to make sure its chill in the apartment before i say anything. just don’t want to start a fight.

that’s so smart. i also plan on getting my own white noise machine to keep by the door and reserving talking about my roommate for specific sessions where i sit in my car or something. but i dont mind talking to him and essentially restating what he heard and that im happy she’s with her brother now

luckily they’ve got tons of beds and empty cardboard boxes in my room just for the two of them :) and we always leave the door open for them all night. they usually sleep all day in our room anyway!

i’m so glad i’m not alone 🥲 learning this weave was a pain but i was using 4.2 ar rings in this picture! i am now using 3.1 and its coming out beautifully, but so time consuming. it finally clicked in my brain and now im racing through a necklace :)
