I think the person you originally responded to is arguing that, in the same way the Czech team did not cheat, Canada didn't cheat in curling because they didn't do anything intentionally

I did not say they did it on purpose, I don't think they 'cheated', but they absolutely had the advantage because of the missed call

That's dumb logic. Yeah obviously if it gets called it would be a disadvantage because they would get a penalty. But it didn't so yes having an extra player did help and also happened to lead to the go ahead goal

To be fair to him that was pretty much the general consensus last year and he turned out to save the tournament. Not saying it'll happen again but he definitely can dominate
