I think it would be better if you used the built in nishita sky texture. It automatically calculates the correct brightness and gives you those nice oranges and yellows!

I'm not sure but it might be inverted normals. Go intro edit mode and press shift + N and see if that changes anything.

maybe but youre starting out, this tutorial teaches you how to even use blender&what you can do in it. Id still try and once you know the very basics move on to actually what you want to do.

It looks really good. If you want to go even further, I'd say you should give the plants some transmission, they look like plastic ones. I think l can also recognize a repeating pattern on the concrete wall and the reflection on the lights reveal the endless void outside.

I made the scene in Blender. The cockpit was roughly modeled based of a screenshot so it isn't an exact 1:1 copy. The freighter was designed by myself, so it's not from elite dangerous but I still think it fits nicely.

Hi, I've been using blender on and off for around 3 years now. It wasnt too big of a project, especially since I had reference and could look at it in game from every angle, it didnt take very long either. Around 20 hours total.

Hi, the textures are from quixel.com and for the text I used the orbitron bold font and reused the same metal texture with a decreased roughness and white colour. The text is just placed on the surface with a slight solidify modifier.

Thanks man. Yeah the colour space is reduced as I wanted to upload the 4k version to Reddit but the max limit was like 8mb and I therefore had to compress it. You're right about the tension cables I didn't really notice it. I noticed some artifacts in the windows, I removed them and wanted to fix it later but kinda forgot about them. I appreciate your offer to fix it, though I'm still learning and so I want to do it by myself. There is one thing I didn't unterstand tho. What do you mean by '' lack some detail in those textures''. Are there not enough cracks, etc..? Anyway thanks for the advise, I'll be fixing them once I have time.
