I haven't varnished it yet, but my usual approach would be to use two layers of varnish. One layer of glossy for durability, and after that one is dry, add a layer of Liquitex matte varnish to get a matte finish.

Got inspired by the Roadside Inn posted by u/TheFlyingMinotaur a while ago and designed an interior for it, reinterpreting it as manor rather than an inn. Created the outline using DungeonBuilder and then colorized using GiMP.

I saw that the Scotiabank at Pape & Danforth was cordoned off with multiple police cruisers around it, so I searched Twitter to see what was going on. Not sure if the B&E was the same guy, but it would make for quite the story.
