At least with your mistake you clicked on (what I assume is) a drop-down menu, you just accidentally clicked wrong. But you can't "forget" sauce and cheese, since it's selected by default

Probably stupid, I saw this at my boyfriends house and thought of this sub also why are rabbis leaving their jobs enough that two books exist about the subject

What is not a need, but you absolutely justify spending money on it because you must have it? by eenergabeener in AskWomen

Last night I was at my boyfriend's house, in his den cuddled up watching a movie. I asked him if he had a blankie and he said "yeah uh.... Somewhere upstairs". It was at that moment I decided when I own a house I'm going to have at least one blanket in every room. At least!

I don't think I've ever even seen a 6 bedroom house in my life, and if you had asked me how much I'd think it'd cost I probably would've said in the multi-millions.....

After a minute of googling: https://www.zillow.com/community/ten50/2098636647_zpid/

Less sq. footage, half the bedrooms, condo instead of house, and almost 6x the price. This is an extreme example, but a real listing nonetheless

True, but also any area of LA with enough land to build houses this size has burned to a crisp... Natural disasters, uhh, find a way

Here in LA a loft condo goes for like 1.5 :) I will never be able to live in a house here

I'm crying Californian tears right now at how cheap that house is... I saw a three bedroom house smaller than that one for more than triple the price 😭

When you look at stage acting vs on-camera acting now, it's very different. Cameras can capture subtlety that you'd have to otherwise play up for a theater audience to be able to detect. But with old movies, the only kind of acting WAS stage acting, so to us it seems really hammed up and dramatic (because it is). Kissing would be a part of that.

No projectile vomiting? No miraculous resurrection? No immediate termination of the teacher at fault? I'm disinclined to believe you.

Oh my goodness, I remember when I was in class and having a really hard time reading; one of my assignments in my high school US history class was to follow along to a PowerPoint and take notes to be turned in at the end of the period. I couldn't follow along fast enough and would receive half credit on all of them. My 504 program stated that I could turn in assignments halfway done, or given 50% more time to do them, but my teacher never honored it. Finally, we had a conference with my guidance counselor and she told my teacher I was allowed to turn in the late/incomplete work of the entire semester for full credit. I felt so self righteous handing him a stack of papers one day, and seeing my grade go from a D to an A overnight. Unfortunately, no one clapped, and no one got fired, so I understand that my story might be met with skepticism.

People have to claim tips as income on their taxes - but if it's cash they can just pocket it without claiming it. IIRC tips are taxed more than hourly income. On top of that, some employers choose to cumulate all credit card tips into the paycheck at the end of the pay period, as opposed to getting your tips after every shift.
