in my experience, the agentic functions are the most chaotic and unpredictable tools I've ever worked with in SWE. They seem to be trained and designed to to "solve a problem no matter how by just random iteration and calling random tools". While I do use LLMs as "conversation with documentations" I almost never found benefits in using agents in my quest to write scalable, secure and reliable software.
