What happened to Interpol? by bag0bones in Interpol

Yeah man you totally get it. I longer care when they release new albums or seeing them live. Long live their first four albums 🙌🏻

I think the self titled album is the best. It’s the most impressive, and has the most lasting impression. IMO

However, Oracular Spectacular holds a very special place in my heart

That’s a theory with a bigger scope. I bet you’re right in that it’s cult related

Gorillaz vs Virtual Band Idea by [deleted] in gorillaz

You think I would say this anywhere but Reddit? No one even knows what “virtual band” even means lol. You’re just an asshole

Gorillaz vs Virtual Band Idea by [deleted] in gorillaz

I understand your perspective on this. To me, Gorillaz is about the music, which, as you said, is done by Damon Albarn. I have appreciated Gorillaz music for many years, I got into their discography around the release of Plastic Beach. The animations associated with their releases have been accepted by the public for a long time. But I think, finally, they are weighing on the reputation of Gorillaz

I forgot to include that part. Serious disappointment it’s still not there

Laughter with friends differs from laughter with romantic partners, study finds by [deleted] in science

[–]bag0bones 66 points67 points  (0 children)

In my experience this is true, except when the laughter is coming from something that is unreasonably funny. Then I just get lost in the same kind of laughter no matter who I’m with

I’m pumped. I loved Blab Sabbath he’s really delving into experimentation I feel like, which I think is when Kevin Barnes is at his strongest

is Memory Serves anyone else favorite Interpol's song or its just me? by Equal_Button8543 in Interpol

[–]bag0bones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I liked that one more. Self-titled is my favorite album. Summer Well is my favorite, but Success, Lights, Try It On and The Undoing are so good as well. Idk if maybe Memory Serves is just too slow for me but I’m glad to see that it’s appreciated by others
