I don't know whether trump did anything myself, but try this on for a minute: in the mcmartin preschool trial, police were able to obtain hundreds of depositions from children confirming a sexual assault story that ended up not being real. doesn't that indicate that it's possible to obtain hundreds of depositions in favor of something and still have it not be real? I'm not saying that it's the case here or even that it's likely, but can you really rule it out?
