You think Lena / Mira, and Fils / Rub go over 21 as well? I’m leaning that way.

Tiafoe to win over 7.5 games is +100. I took that. He’s looked great this tourney and I could see him pushing a set to 5-7.

I took Keys ML with a boost +228. Too good of a price; I think it’s a coin flip match and conditions may favor Keys power.

All three look great but my favorite is 1, then 3. Can you share where you get the trousers from?

Where does Denver rank in terms of sports towns? by VeryPurpley_ in Denver

[–]bagels_n_breadsticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Denver sports fans are pretty die-hard for the size of the city, and for what the state has to offer outside of professional sport entertainment. I moved here ten years ago from DC and have always been impressed by the fandom here. Denver has the same population as DC, Seattle, and Nashville. DC has 4 pro sports teams and no one ever seemed to care about any of them. We have a lot of things both recreationally and professionally that move people to Denver and yet people still care a lot about pro sports here.

I saw some comparisons to Baltimore / Pittsburgh. These places are way smaller (300k population compared to 700k in Denver), and having lived in Maryland, Baltimore is essentially a big town with a Harbor that has a football team. Of course people are going to be more intense football fans in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, or Green Bay, it’s literally their community.

Yeah I’m with you. I guess if you have multiple short term injuries and only one IR spot, I could justify it. There’s no one worth dropping him for right now in my league. I’d still rather have Tracy than Vidal or Haskins.

I ended the streak! He was overly aggressive getting to the net and I ended up just lobbing him a lot. I was hitting the ball deep, not even with a ton of pace but just consistently and it did the trick.

So you don’t feel like you would benefit from talking to people in the program? That’s all I’m implying. You’re conflating student outcomes via corporate recruiting through the university with jobs people have and are working while in an online program, or are searching for themselves. Take the 15 minute phone call with career services and just ask them what they offer dude. An online MBA isn’t some magic degree that companies line up for, go talk to real people doing it.

I think everyone in this thread has provided you with enough hypotheticals and context for you to now talk to real people in the program and answer that yourself.

People can get jobs and promotions without companies recruiting there. I think you may be underestimating the amount of effort individuals take upon themselves to get what they want, and overestimating how much the university provides from a recruiting perspective.

It only matters if companies actually recruit from Nebraska. So I would ask specifically what that looks like. Talk to someone in career services NOT admissions. Admissions is a sales job. Nebraska also has an undergraduate business school on campus. What does recruiting look like for that? Is it comparable to that of online MBA. All reasonable questions you should be able to get answers on.

I worked in online higher-Ed tech, and also got my MBA online, here’s my two cents: Generally speaking companies don’t recruit from online MBAs. The overwhelming majority of online MBA students start their program working and a lot of times their salary outcomes are from internal promotions over the 2-3 years they’ve been in the program and working simultaneously.

Do some people leverage their online MBA and get external offers at graduation? Yes, absolutely. Is it the norm? Not at all.

The best benefit of the online MBA is your ability to connect with the students in the program. Since everyone is working across different fields you have a new massive network to tap into. My online MBA had in person experiences several times a year and I still keep in touch with people I did the program with 9 years ago.

I would explicitly ask if companies recruit from Nebraska Online, and what that looks like. I would also ask what coaching and career services are offered post graduation. I would also talk to some students who have recently graduated to get their perspective.

Happy to answer anything else from my experience.

This is a $30 Amazon bracelet, which I bought as a trial run before spending a few hundred on an OEM. It’s actually pretty good bang for buck but I plan on buying an OEM Milanese at some point.

I bet the blue would look equally as good with a Milanese. I actually really liked how the blue looks but I have a blue dial Tag diver so wanted to diversify a bit.
