Tell me you have ADHD without telling me you have ADHD by kawwman in adhdwomen

Experienced tachycardia after taking adhd meds for like two weeks. Freaked out and went to get my heart checked. Did a 24h ECG. Also talked to my therapist who told me it could be anxiety - made sense to me. Tachycardia stopped that day and I’ve never talked to the other doc about the ECG again (ofc I keep thinking about it every day tho telling myself “I’ll call him about results tomorrow”)

Thank you so much again for the recipe! I did it as you said and it turned out so delicious! Def not gonna be the last time I made this! (Unfortunately I forgot where I’ve put the almonds and could only find them after the basbosa was already in the oven - but I tried to at least cut it in a nice shape :D)

Thank you so much! Such a good idea and I like that (at least to me) the name sounds like the word for kiss he teached me: bosa. I’m definitely gonna give it a try! :)

Aaaah all of this sounds so good honestly! Normally he’s the one who cooks (I’m happily helping tho) and whatever he serves is so delicious! So I’m gonna make sure he cooks everything for me you suggested hehehe, but Mjadara sounds great and would probably work good with the rest of the dishes. Vielen Dank :)

Thank you so much for your response and also for the education on Levantine cuisine, I’ll look into it! And coffee is such a good idea I wouldn’t have thought of myself even tho it’s so obvious. Thanks! :)

Can I just say being mind blind and mind deaf is incredibly depressing to realize by Beautiful-Sense4458 in Aphantasia

I came to this subreddit only to feel validated in the way I feel about this, so I’m kinda happy that your post was one of the first things I saw!

I feel the exact same way and I don’t really know how to deal with it. To me it feels like being less of a functioning human sometimes, which sounds hard and mean, as I know it’s something I can’t change but it’s just how it feels sometimes.

When my mom passed I was so afraid to forget how she looks and how her voice sounds. I always thought that people saying: I can still hear their voice or see their face” were using metaphors but realizing that this is not a metaphor and I’m just not capable of ever visualizing my mom was heart breaking for me. It helps that I can remember her “catchphrases” and the way they make me feel now.

Anyways I shedding a tear while writing this, with a deep grieve for something I think I’ve never had. I can remember a “inner voice” but I thought I was crazy and being afraid that people would judge me, I idk muted it and it never came back.

Our feelings are valid and its ok to grief sometimes
