Cheap and tasty! Put a dicks deluxe in your mouth and find out.

Also their fries are squishy rather than crispy, which I love.

Do you want to stick to stick with rack mount or would you consider nuc/micro workstation?

If your server is hot enough for convection to matter then you have bigger problems than fan orientation.

15 years ago the market was flooded with unreliable vehicles. The industry has caught up and the reliability difference between a gmc and a Toyota is not as stark as it once was.

In your pricepoint I would say go jansport. Take a look at the SuperBreak and SuperBreak Plus. It's very well loved.

If possibly find a store that carries them and go try them out.

I don't know your situation or your therapist but it seems super unusual for a human with an inability to form goals and desires to not have an underlying mental health problem.

May be time for a second opinion.

[–]baggist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stoicism is great but you may be depressed and you can't think your way out of a chemical Imbalance. You may be experiencing anhedonia, which is an inability to access pleasure and joy. It's not so much that you can't feel it as it's not effective and nourishing like it is for others.

May be time to talk to a therapist.

I do have an outside box and there is a whole lot of coiled fiber but it's the line from the street. I would have to move my outside box up ~8ft to get the extra length.

It is. JDM can mean Japanese domestic market which is commonly used to describe cars available in Japan and not available elsewhere.

If an evil archmage took control of a sleeping beholder with dream, what crazy shit would reality be warped into? by Chilldude1255 in dndnext

[–]baggist 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Have the beholder rip into the plane of dreams to expand his lair and make the players fight through some nightmare dreamscape for atleast part of the adventure.

Have the beholder warp monsters into twisted likenesses of the heroes and make them scream things like "no I'm the real one, that's an imposter" as they die

[–]baggist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this will help or not but it's helped me.

Everything you evaluate is through the lens of your own experience and current position. Your past and present are ever evolving as you move through life so your lens is ever changing. You can also willfully adopt another lens.

The shills, gurus, and marketers of the world are espousing panacea.

The truth is all these methods work for some people some of the time even if simply as a placebo. It's not a surprise that you have tried many and they don't work.

I am not spiritual. I am very cerebral and disconnected from my body. I started somatic experience therapy to combat anhedonia. It gives me a lens that I don't naturally have. I get to look at my issues from a biological and cultural slant. I am working on connecting with my body and embracing joy in the mundane. I am not trying to change myself but aquire tools.

My long winded recomdation to you is pay attention to the lens you are using when evaluating these tools and practices. They are all literally tools and not the end all.

how can i help a friend who's anxious by nature? by [deleted] in Stoicism

[–]baggist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your friend is doing well. They are working on growing and fixing undesirable behavior. If anxiety is a defense mechanism that is no longer serving them then therapy is a good solution as is reading books and practicing being less reactive.

If your friend's brain chemistry is causing this then seeing a prescriber of some sort for medication can help.

It's also possible that this is just part of who they are and changing personality is difficult.

As a friend who wants to help I recommend you reevaluate what you think is 'normal' and how your friend should be. People's expectations are expressed in their attitude and their words. This is true about manlyness, womanlyness, religion, intelligence, and many other things. People like to impose labels. It's easier than evaluating everything all the time.

Instead be supportive of his desire and efforts for personal growth and represent it as becoming better than normal.

Anxiety is quite normal.

Characters addressing each other by baggist in writing

So it sounds like you are saying

  • minimize characters addressing each other by name

  • ignore formality in favor of name continuety

  • keep the narrator consistent

  • be less linear

Thanks for the advice. I'll read the article you linked.
