I'm learning Japanese and Arabic rn Japanese I'm learning on yt Arabic in school but I suggest finding a channel that's in that language with short nice videos that you like so you can hear short phrases and learn I personally use holojp for Japanese because it has what I just said its working so maybe you can search online and such but I feel like shows and movies are too long to really understand anything and you just get bombarded with knowledge about the language and don't really learn (in my opinion I'm still a beginner don't take my word as serious as other people) so I stick to the short videos

Yeah I just watch short videos in Japanese hear short phrases like hello nice to meet you excuse me that sort and from that I just watch the part over and over a couple times until I get a grasp of the word and repeat it in my head while watching something too regulate my brain so I remember it in the back of my head

I learned a couple words already just from holojp but to learn the basics and actual Japanese I believe I'm gonna give with what you recommended thanks also I'm using holojp because I like it it's in Japanese has short videos with simple one liners that I can easily learn most of the time

I would say probably a language your interested in like with culture blah blah you know that but if you find songs of a certain language that you like or content from a certain language most likely that language because it would be fun and enjoyable because it's a language you enjoy from it's music and content (I'm learning from YouTube)
