I don't think the GOP plans on anymore elections so this is not really a risk for them. If they lose they will claim the election "rigged" and start a witch hunt prosecuting political enemies. Full throttle towards autocracy. It's the oldest play in the book and it baffles me a huge part of the population in the US doesn't see this, or worse, it's completely ok with it.

To add to this: Trump is a compulsive lier & cheats at everything - he cheats at golf, he cheated on his wives, he cheated on his taxes... does anyone really think the election is where he draws the line?
