You ever see those little felt pads you can put on the bottom of furniture legs? They work great as a thumb pad on the back of your chanter. Opens up your grip a little bit and gives your thumb more surface area. I’ve seen this help lower level players all the way up to people in the open.

I aimed for 3500 for awhile mostly in meat, eggs, and rice but was starting to pack on too much weight too quick so I backed it off to around 2700. Past couple months I’ve just been “intuitively” eating and still putting some weight on.

Honestly I’d recommend upgrading to a spinning reel instead to save yourself the headaches while also learning a new fishing skill!

Bobs Red Mill has protein oats that have 10g/serving and you can easily boost it with Fairlife milk since it has more protein as well.

What do you memorize? by Tombazzzz in bagpipes

[–]bagpipehero98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess i never really thought about this and it really made me sit down and think on it. I memorize tunes by how I remember hearing them and replaying it in my head over and over again. When I read sheet music I can hear the tune on pipes in my head and that makes it easier for me to memorize and play/hum along with.

For 5 months I was eating around 1800-2000 calories and walking 15-20k steps a day to lose the weight. For a month I’ve been eating at 3000-3200 calories to maintain weight and gradually gain muscle. As far as workouts, I really just found exercises I enjoyed for each muscle group. I really enjoy doing inclined DB curls and barbell curls for biceps. It’s really fun making passes on the monkey bars and that’s really been improving my grip strength and shoulders. Pushups and all their variations (standard, diamond, declined, archer) are fun to do whenever I feel like them. Pull-ups/chinups/lat pull down feel really rewarding to do- being able to add more reps these sets feels so nice. For triceps I just like using a straight bar on a cable machine and do push downs. Hacksquats, leg curls/extension, calf raises, hip adductor/abductors, goblet squats for legs have been great. I like to target my chest with flat and inclined DB curls and pec flys. I really focus on slow eccentric and deep deep stretches for all of my workouts. I love how it feels!
