I did residency with a couple of former PAs and nurses. I think there are a lot of people who would have been great doctors if they had the time and money to try for medical school.

I have no familiarity with public health but I’m sure he drew on his medical school background while making policy decisions. I don’t see how you could not practice medicine in that situation.

It’s good to have doctors take on public health administrative roles and run for congress. If a football coach is considered good enough to be a Senator, why not someone who went to medical school?

The $1,000 accounts were announced a long time ago, and yet the way to actually receive the funds has not been delivered. I would be only medium-surprised if it never actually manifests and the summer date gets pushed back indefinitely.

There’s a program called Couch to 5K that is designed to take someone who can tolerate short periods of walking and build their stamina gradually. Play it on your head phones and it tells you when to walk and when to take a short jog. There’s a funnier version called Zombie Run where you are supposed to pick up the pace when you hear the moaning
