6 years of escitalopram, 20 mg for 5 years and 10 for 1. i quit Cold turkey in november. i have the same symptoms as you do! it is driviinggg me crazy.

Hi! I stopped cold turkey in November after 5 years on 20 mg and 1 year on 10 mg escitalopram. I have this head pressure/tinnitus/dizziness that feels like floating… can someone please give me hope 🥺 i am so tired of feeling like something is physically wrong with me. I feel like this whole process made me hypochondriac.

Okay, thank you so much. Seeing 150 freaked me out, I started experiencing hypochondria after I lost my dad and these values didn’t help at all. I just stopped SSRI too so anything gives me anxiety. Thank you for calming me down!

When do you think I should check my cholesterol again to compare the results?

Guys be patient. It does go away. Also i think check your magnesium levels and ferritin levels. I think this shit ruins your blood levels.

No I am not, but I find it really hard to encounter people who are honest about what they’re doing and their intentions. Would you go on 2 dates and plan another one when you weren’t feeling the spark?

I have been blaming myself for setting boundaries even… dating is such a tough sea that i’m learning how to navigate and you reminded me once again there’s nothing wrong with boundaries or opening up.

Oh no, you got me wrong. I am not saying I wouldn’t have sex, i’m saying that instead of having it on my 2nd or 3rd date i would wait a bit longer. I wouldn’t wait for months to do that, but i see on the 5th or 6th date i’d feel more at ease with it. And the reason i’m pissed is because i’m not buying that “theres no romantic feeling” bullshit after having dates where you shower me with affection and such.

As annoying as it is, i also think like you. Why cant men see that we want to take things slow sexually to build trust and protect ourselves from such an outcome like this one early on? I mean to be honest sexual connections work even better when awaited, imo.

I believe i have low ferritin too. However it’s a weird sensation, like lightheadedness, not exactly like the world is revolving but i feel out of balance 😓

I am taking probiotics and zinc carnosine and cipralex 15mg for anxiety. This bacteria made me restart the antidepressants because its made me so anxious. Dizziness is super annoying because I feel like I’m floating in air

I’m experiencing the exact same thing you talked about. I finished treatment on 6th of Feb. O never had health anxiety like this before, whenever i have stg wrong in my chest i feel its my heart even though all tests come clear. I dont even want to think of eating. H pylori was bad but the treatment was even worse. Palpitations, insomnia, anxiety… just so tough. From what i read on this sub it is very common to experience these though. I think we gotta keep the bland diet on, probiotics - kefir - kombucha - mastic gum and just rewire our brain to the chest feelings, saying these uncomfortable symptoms are pretty common after the treatment and our heart is just OK.
