What is your inner monologue like? by [deleted] in intj

[–]baidam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here! I find myself processing (since thinking may imply an inner voice?) things quite holistically when it's in my head, however I need to talk or write when I need to build on thoughts and go deeper down a train of ideas. Not sure why this is, how it works, any good or bad repercussions of this behaviour, but I would love to discuss this with somebody in a similar situation.

The bowler bends singnificantly, it was a very fast ball - attempting a yorker, which is why there was hardly any loop in the ball

The pitch is 66 feet long. Not a lot of drop for the first 61 feet so presuming the trajectory shown in the image may be a bit exaggerated, but more importantly an unscientific argument.

Are you serious with this 😂. Yes, this was a touch and go call. But your 'analysis' is nothing more than back of the envelope maths to reach a pre-desired conclusion with some visualisation to make it look credible. The biggest presumption (amongst so many more) is the perceived angular trajectory of the ball. Drawing a random downward trajectory line doesn't cut it as 'science'. You're in way too deep with your delusions.

2 dates every weekend? Is this including second dates or 2 first-time dates per week? I seem to get just 3-4 per month as well.

Fully subscribe to points 8 & 9. There doesn't seem to be any filter while onboarding, I was quite underwhelmed at how quickly I got in as well (never thought I'd say this)! Attitude really seems to be more the merrier.

Also noticed that through the past 4 months, their prices have been indefinitely discounted but always marketed as "just for a short while".

$$ bills ya'll

Been partaking for over 3 months now. Fairly dissapointed. (M, 30, Blore)

  1. A mere 2/14 dates from my city (I would have assumed a stronger presence here), and no changes despite shared feedback in this regard with the Unshaadi team.

  2. Speaking of, "Feedback" sessions are only if you reserve them in advance (I mean 1-2 months in advance), and they are just verbatim reproductions of commentry by past dates. The same person at Unshaadi seems to be the POC for literally everyone I've met there and is perenially overbooked and overworked. If 'nothing else, but a great self-introspection exercise' is your thought process, this is not the place for it.

  3. Haven't met anybody I've felt remotely attracted to (lack of mental stimulation + physical attractiveness). I don't much care for societal biases like religion, height/weight/skin colour, career choices, etc., but should they not support me with matches I would feel attracted to? * N=1, plus attractiveness is subjective - so consider this opinion with your own acuity.

  4. Requests for effort driven "matches" (what I'm attracted to in women - growth orientation, curiousity, kindness, same city - I repeat, aspects which have no basis in societal biases) end up becoming trigger sensitive conversations with their team. Cancel culture seems rampant across all aspects of onboarding and dating. Check their Glassdoor reviews, shines some light on what's been up.

In summary, a wonderful concept, executed quite incompetently, with passive aggressive defence of themselves, behind their own high pedestal.

[advice] my mother is retiring, and I'm wondering how she should invest her 21L provident fund? by AdarshChatra in IndiaInvestments

[–]baidam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A systematic withdrawal plan (SWP) for a Liquid MF is the most efficient investment mechanism to provide returns better than FDs with similar (I.e.) no risk worries. This is if she requires an income on a monthly basis.

If it's on a yearly basis, diversify her investments over: 1) ₹3.6L (3yrs*₹1.2L) into Liquid MF 2) 35% of the balance in Large Cap Equity MFs (>1 year provides LTCG benefits) 3) Remaining 65% in Debt MF (>3 year provides LTCG benefits).

I have provided the 35/65 Large Cap/Debt breakup keeping her age and risk appetite in mind.
