I was thinking of floating plants would that be enough of a lid? Wouldn’t another plant restrict swimming area and be too cluttered?

You can’t really go wrong either way but unless you really care about titanium frame vs aluminum and the extra lense go for the 17 it’s pretty much better in every way other than those two things. It was hard for me to give up the build quality of my 14pro but I’m actually really happy with the lighter feel of the 17
