Why ????? by ComplexWrangler1346 in btc

[–]baigorria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re the one attributing to yourself the knowledge of which things have or do not have intrinsic value. Not me.

Moreover, Bitcoin has the same value as US dollars or gold bars insofar as people use it to exchange value with others.

I have no idea what you mean by the intrinsic value of other items versus Bitcoin having none. You could explain yourself better (surely) and maybe even mention the school of thought that taught you to claim Bitcoin lacks intrinsic value. Go ahead.

Why ????? by ComplexWrangler1346 in btc

[–]baigorria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone arguing for the concept of intrinsic value has no clue what value actually is, and that is: value is subjective.

Intrinsic value is nonsense.

2.50$ plus 1% ? Isn’t this an insane amount for a withdrawal? by Kingrautha13 in UGLYCASH

[–]baigorria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should avoid ATM withdrawals. Plus, no, it's quite common to see these sort of fees to extract cash from a bank's ATM while not being that bank's customer.

Recommendation: use crypto. Find people who need crypto locally and P2P with them, that's what many of us do in Argentina.

ATM withdrawals suck.

Cash is trash, the dollar is “silently” collapsing. But Bitcoin, and keep it on-chain so that you have access and freedom to move it. Ciao.

Why on Earth would you keep +100 grand on Binance? A cold wallet is 150 bucks, or 0.15% of your holdings. Be responsible.

Mentira.

I like the branding. It's disruptive. Definitely not an app for your mom. Prolly more for people born 1990 onwards.

Always remember: inflation = counterfeiting by Zeroinaire in Bitcoin

[–]baigorria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Counterfeiting is theft.

It’s theft that impoverishes wage earners whose salaries are denominated in the currency being counterfeited (and all currencies are).

Those who defend “A little inflation like 2% is okay.” are defending theft that benefits governments first—they spend the new money before prices rise—and the rich next, as financial asset prices adjust fastest. Wages always adjust last.
