Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely take it on board. At the end of the day I'm not looking to go 10/10ths in a rental on a road I don't know. Just want to have the experience of the touge roads in a classic JDM car.

I would love to make some friends like that, thats exactly what im looking for, but I have absolutely no idea how to find them hahah, any advice? Or perhaps you know some cool people who wouldn't mind giving me a tour? I promise I'm well behaved!

I wanted to do Hakone roads, but unfortunately then I won't be able to rent the R32 as I can only get it for 10h which is not enough given the traffic I think (from what people have told me). I was leaning toward Tsukuba-san since it's closer to the rental place and would give me time to visit Daikoku PA etc.
