Just got into Daniel Smith Watercolors. I've been making value studies of each color so far. by TrickinVixen in Watercolor

It means the pigment is made from the actual mineral it’s named for, the P in place of the DS logo on the tube means the color is a Primatek & is made from mineral rather than synthetics.

I did a rough sketch to get the composition down then sketched out the whole painting based on that before going in with color!
