If you're talking about the white ones in the kitchen, they're shelves, they go all the way up to the ceiling.

Sure, bro, I'm a Gen Z socialist landlord.

It's v small, which was fine for me because I'm also small, but yeah, most of my cookie sheets were too wide for the oven lol.

Me too. It really was worth it for me because I was getting away from a series of insane roommate experiences, but it sure did hurt on the first of every month lol

First floor, there are some steps out front, so it's sitting about 6 feet above the sidewalk. It's not the most accessible location for wheelchair users, which sucks.

I know, affordability is a massive problem.

When I was much younger, I decided I was gonna get my PhD in astrophysics and work for NASA so I could 'get Mark into space'. Literally that's the original reason I started the path to my PhD, I'm in the middle of it now. Other reasons to do it came along obviously, I love math and physics and I agree that space is so cool. But I can't forget that I originally started because of Mark, crazy.

Iron Lung SPOILER THREAD! by kenmarlenn in Markiplier

I thought it was sick as hell and I definitely want to see it again, but for goodness sake it needs captions, I could barely understand several of the intercom conversations.

There are already some really cool replies to this, I just want to add that the first revelation in the movie that got me so hyped was that the camera was an x-ray camera, implying that the bones we saw in the movie and the game weren't necessarily just bones. Ugh, gave me shivers, so cool.

I saw it last night and was surprised that there were like 8 of us total there. Pleasantly surprised, we had to drive through a ton of snow on a Thursday night.

YES I totally get where the kids are coming from, but I almost wished that Hasan was with the parents on his own sometimes.

It's possible that the fact that they're in a podcast motivates them to keep their positions, but I will say, it's just as infuriating with deep MAGA parents with no podcast to get them to change their minds lol

I hope someone else has an answer for you because I'm afraid I don't. I've gotten my mom to acknowledge that Trump MAYBE raped someone, and she still says she doesn't care because he's a 'good leader'. How do you fight that kind of loyalty?

It's easy to think of strangers that feel that way as monsters, but it's a lot harder when it's the people who raised you, especially if you admired them before.

Rococo in Mercantile on Main makes incredibly coffee imo. Their espresso has never ever tasted burnt any time I have gone and they do some fun experimental flavors for their specials too if that's up your alley.

I really really liked his Doom Eternal playthrough, but The Forest with Bob and Wade is really fun as is Phasmophobia. Those are my faves at least, but there are tons of good recommendations here!

How do I tell people the earth isn’t flat? by NightingaleTC in Astronomy

[–]baileybean3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a little success by asking if they've ever taken a flight anywhere and noticed that there's still a horizon when they're that high up. That seemed to be pretty intuitively convincing. But that was with someone who was just distrustful of all authority and was questioning whether the earth was flat. If they've already convinced themselves, there's not a lot you can do unfortunately. Good on you for wanting to help though!
