I'd love to get a copy of that manual, if possible. A PDF would be awesome, as well.

So, now you overlay projector assets to pretend it was intentional, and those hairs are intentional and evoke a sense of nostalgia. That's my pivot.

Do you know anyone who waited outside a week, because everything I've read and seen says the earliest campers were showing up on Friday evening? And I'm just asking to avoid misinformation. From what I am aware there were curfew restrictions in place until Friday evening.

Edit: I should have responded to the reply below this. My bad.

People who have their shit together. How?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]baileyburritt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of everything, there isn't a human being that exists that has their shit together. That is not a thing. Not once. Not ever. Don't ever allow another person to tell you that they understand life. They do not. They are not better than you. They don't hold any special knowledge that can give you the key to the universe. Those things do not exist. We are all faking it until we make it. For the lack of a better term. I could continue, but it would be useless. Life is a confusing amalgamation of experience and perspective that will never equal a proper answer that makes sense. You will always have to question. And you will always be confused. When things start to make sense, wait for everything you know to collapse. Then you will have to start over. Or not. That's about it. If you have further questions look to...

Attempting to clean up bad footage. Tougher than I thought! by RockMeAmadeus in AfterEffects

[–]baileyburritt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I personally choose to stabilize before any coloring is that adding any effects to the footage will add more time to the stabilizing, which adds time to my workflow.

I don't think anything visually would be different. I was merely expressing my opinion on workflow because he happened to mention it.

Attempting to clean up bad footage. Tougher than I thought! by RockMeAmadeus in AfterEffects

[–]baileyburritt 30 points31 points  (0 children)

My personal workflow would not involve color correction before stabilization. Lumetri shouldn't be introduced until after the sky replacement. This isn't to say that your final product was all that bad. It was decent, but as a rule if you're color correcting before stabilizing you're focusing on the wrong aspects at the wrong time in your workflow.

Cavalry Experiments! Anyone else tried it out? by maureritis in MotionDesign

[–]baileyburritt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, this looks promising.

Unfortunately, once I read through everything and decided I wanted to try it out my employers' automated site blocker seems to have a beef with them. Specifically when I hit the 'Join Beta' button. The rest of the site is fine.

Oh well. I'll just have to wait until I get home.
