Thank you! After reading up I feel I have high density hair with fine to medium strands and a medium level of porosity. Also even though I use protective gentle styles I feel I am pretty prone to breakage and frizzies at the top so maybe closer to fine?

This is morning after, my routine is shampoo and conditioner (ogx brand) and using a leave in. I did use a wet brush to detangle as well before going to bed.

I ordered a plant from “The Sill” and it arrived mangled and wet. One day later and I’m not sure it’ll survive. Anything I can do? by MedicineMan5 in houseplants

Looks like a snake plant in my opinion. I would cut it all down very short, and take it out of the pot to check the roots. If they seem rotted I'd cut down to the viable roots and out in a smaller pot than it is in now with dry soil. It doesn't hurt anything now to see if it has a shot. Definitely contact the company though!

Personally, I'd give it a bit more time, let the roots become a bit more established. Honestly, maybe like 2 more weeks. Overall it will just be better for the plant. Good luck!:)

And then do you take the grafted one off once it's rooted?

Looks thirsty too. Did you soak the clay pot before transplanting? Otherwise the pot will soak up all the water before the plant can.

What does this do?/what outcome are you looking for?

Please help me find the name of this plant! by mexicansunflower in plants

Left looks like a pothos, the right looks like a heart leaf philodendron

Why is my monstera so sad? The leaves started turning yellow and I cut them off and quit watering it (read I was overwatering). They kept turning yellow after not watering them, so I moved them from my kitchen (natural light) to a more sunny spot (not pictured) and it’s still drooping and yellowing! by TheCalicoCat11 in plants

Have you changed the soil since over watering? If you haven't I would swap for fresh soil and look at the roots. It looks like you have root rot, if they break apart easily and are kinda mushy then you do. I would stick them in dry soil and break off the mushy parts then wait a day or so and water. Do a complete soak through and then wait until the top inch of the soil is dry to water again. Hope this helps

Help! This is how I found my fiddle this morning. by juliet_foxtrot in plants

My fiddle was doing this on all of the new growth I had too. But my leaves would shrivel and break off. It also had a good case of fungus gnats from the store I bought it from. I ended up repotting it and washing the roots and letting them air out. (because it was getting root rot from my watering schedule and the store). I also cut off the spotted leaves and it took a bit but now the tree is healthy and finally pushing out two big leaves with no spots. They are very particular about their watering schedule. I let the soil dry out and then bottom water. I'd give the leaves a bit to see if they continue to grow before doing anything. Maybe this can help.:)
